An Undiscovered Artist

An Undiscovered Artist.
Today I was blessed to be invited to a Art Showing at a
beautiful Wine Tasting Hot Spot called “The Cellar Door” located in Lodi,
California. This place is located in the heart of downtown Lodi and is on the cutest strip. The very essence of this small town reminded me of Chula Vista (CA) because of the cute and almost innocent nostalgia that the downtown strip has seemed to have kept throughout the decades. As you drive through this cute strip located on School Street, it literally reminded me of the strip on 'American Graffiti'. From the cute little shops to the diners and even the movie theater it seemed authentic that this little town wanted to remain the way it was in the 50's.
The Art on display tonight
was of the very talented Ms.Jaqueline Stone. Jaqueline and I are friends that have just recently been reunited via facebook over the last month. I hadn’t seen Jaqueline for over 13 years and was so excited to see her again after all these years. Upon my arrival along with my husband, I was greeted with the most sincere and heartfelt embrace. As we hugged eachother I felt as if I had gone back in time to the days when her and I were just kids still hungering to see what life really was. As I looked around the room to the pieces that were on display I could not help but see that Jaqueline had really lived life and her art was a way she showed it!
'The Cellar Door' was so quaint and also very chic, too! I
noticed how mellow the people were casually sipping their Pinot Grigio
as they
carried on their conversations. Just outside there was a blues/jazz
singer posted
up singing his heart out, and boy could he sing! The sheer ambiance of
the place wreaked of simplicity and elegance at the same time!
Jacqueline’s beautiful art work was placed all around the establishment, bringing an extra sense of color and creativity to the brick and mortar walls. The fine hues of colors she could blend in each individual piece along with the obvious effortless strokes onto the canvas showed her pure and unadulterated talent.
The versatility of her pieces coupled with the personality of each one also makes her stand out as a true artist in every sense of the word. I was in awe as I walked around shooting photographs of these masterpieces which I must add the camera did not do justice to the real thing!
Jaqueline is certainly an undiscovered artist, but an artist nonetheless. I asked her if I could write this hub about her and her works because I want her to get the exposure and recognition that she truly deserves.
Jaqueline is a very wonderful person and a great friend too! Being that we are good friends and the fact that I truly believe in her as an artist, I could not pass the chance to put her in the spotlight in the hopes that others will see her works and maybe she may be discovered. She is a great asset as a real artist in the world being able to reflect her inner thoughts and feelings and display them with ease for the world to see........you go girl!
Please scroll down and check out all these beautiful pieces of art work she had on display.

Pachuca, first the words Lodi Calif caught my eye. I was there in 1951 for a short visit to see my father who was a bartender in that---then very small wild-town.
I agree with you Ms Jaqueline does have talent with her art also she seems to show real (life) as we both have touched on in her paintings---thanks for sharing.
How thoughtful of you to do this for her. She is truly gifted. I love all the pieces you have shown. Great to have a friend like that. I should do one on my friend Brigid. Thanks dear. hugs, CC
