An unmarried man with five thousand dollars,how to invest,stocks,options,forex?

If i was still a young man and had five thousand dollars. I would invest in some quality shares. If you had have Asked me three years ago when I knew Google shares were coming onto the market three years ago I would have bought them at 85 dollars each; Now worth about 500 dollars. Plus these share have also have paid a dividend. At the time I was selling a unit had I bought the shares with the 168,000 dollars I had well would have been a Millionaire in paper terms & would be sharing in the dividend too. I still think they are good value. the dividend is likely to keep on growing because the Internet advertising market is replacing the traditional 'rivers of gold 'newspaper market.
