Anaheim, CA. This is where I live. It may not be the best city on Earth but it has a lot to offer. I've been living here for six years now and I've got a few complaints about this town. However, I learned that in every city, there are just about an equal amount of good and bad. Anaheim boasts many attractions. I'll list a few here and I shall start now.

Disneyland Resort - Okay, I'm not a very big fan of Disneyland and even the company of Disney alone. I like it, but not really a big fan of it. But if you're coming down here to Southern California (SoCal, as they call it) you might as well just bring your kids to Disneyland. Let them have a great time. However, I must warn you that it's pretty expensive. Tickets range from $80 to even $300 per head. Depends on the plan and package you get.

Downtown Disney - You don't need any money here. Well, of course you do since you have to park your car. You'd only pay if you're staying for more than two hours. I'm sure you'll stay for more than two hours if you haven't been here before. You can watch shows, go to the House of Blues, eat at those casual fine dining restaurants, and visit the ESPN Zone for those who are sports fanatics. You don't really have to spend money for you can just stroll around like what you'd do in the park but with much more attractions.

Disney's Grand Californian Hotel - If you want a five star experience in Anaheim, you have to check into the Grand Californian Hotel. It's located in the Disneyland Resort / Downtown Disney area. I'm sure you'd enjoy it but you have to be careful about the rates. It's pretty expensive. I suggest that if you want to enjoy Anaheim in a much more cheaper way, check into an inn by Harbor Blvd.

Anaheim GardenWalk - This is a shopping center situated only a mile away from the Disneyland Resort. Maybe not even a mile. There are casual fine dining restaurants, IMAX theaters, clothing and apparel shops, and many more. Go Bowling at the 300. This is by Harbor Blvd. and Katella Ave.

If you're not from the west coast and you want to eat some local food. Well, this chain is already franchised in the west coast but California brags about it. In-N-Out Burger. You have to try that. There's one by Brookhurst St. and Orange Ave. Order your Animal Style Fries, Your 4x4 burger or your Flying Dutchman. When you're in Anaheim, don't even let your kids pull you into McDonald's. Just go to In-N-Out. Don't forget your milkshakes. Order it Neopolitan

Anaheim Angels - Or what we all know now as the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. I still call them the Anaheim Angels. Okay the 2002 World Series Champs are here in Anaheim. If you're visiting Orange Country during baseball season, watch the Angels. The Angels Stadium is only about a mile away from the Honda Center and the Grove. It's also only about a few miles away from The Block At Orange.

Anaheim Ducks - The Ducks. NHL. I'm not much of a hockey fan but if you are, check out a game at the Honda Center. I used to watch the Ducks at that same arena when it was called "The Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim." Or simply, people call it "The Pond."

Downtown Anaheim - Do you wanna go Ice Skating? Do you want to eat at little diners? Do you want to relax at the library? Check out events at Downtown Anaheim. They have little concerts and other kinds of performances there. Or take the bus to Downtown Fullerton through Harbor Blvd. Well, you could just drive.

Anaheim is only a few miles away from Knott's Berry Farm. It's about forty-five minutes away from Los Angeles and an hour from San Diego, CA. Again, It all depends on traffic. The bad side of Southern California? Traffic. Most especially in L.A.

Have fun in Anaheim!
