And The Oscar Goes To: Hillary Clinton!

Very nice performance, Mrs. Former First Lady. On the verge of tears, Senator Clinton talks about how tough the campaign trail is, then turns right around and, basically says that she is right and Obama is wrong, that she has a plan for her first day in office and he does not, that she has thought about what being president means, and he has not. That's an interesting viewpoint, Senator. What proof have you to back it up? Why not lay out for us, if your plan is so much better, exactly what your plan for your first day in office is? I have heard Barack talk of what his first day in office will entail, but I have not heard yours.

You say, Senator, that you see what is happening to our country and that you don't want us to fall backwards. Obama is far more progressive, and by definition, that means going forward, not backward. How can you listen to Obama for a single minute and expect that he would let us fall backwards?

I must admit, I have a soft spot for Hillary Clinton. My mother, God rest her soul, would have loved to see Hillary as our next president. In the 1990's my mother was told by various people that she resembled the First Lady. So, I find it impossible to hate the woman, as she does, indeed, remind me of my mother. I have no doubt that her almost tears were real, but I do not think that they had anything to do with the state of the nation. I think they everything to do with the state of her campaign, and the recent poll numbers coming out of New Hampshire. For months, years, one might argue, Senator Clinton has believed that she would be the next POTUS, and she now sees that slipping away. She did not think Obama would give her any trouble. She saw him as a novelty candidate. She keeps calling him inexperienced, unprepared, yet if you look at each of their websites, and listen to each of them in debate, it is Obama who has the most thought out and comprehensive plans to address the issues. He is straightforward, she is evasive. He agreed to sit down with Michael Moore and be pummeled with tough questions, she declined. Senator Clinton, just what did you expect?

The Dem candidates are like sex--they only go from good to excellent! Any one of the Democratic candidates is better than all the GOP candidates!

I too thought it was very odd just hours before New Hampshire's polls open. I'm real curious what it does to the numbers. If it works we might see all the candidates breaking down into tears in the next debate.
