Angel Locsin Hits Emmys

Angel Locsin has once again proven her versatility and acting prowess. This developed after she was named as one of the finalists in the 37th International Emmy Awards in the Best Performance by an Actress category.
Angel was noticed in her performance in "Lobo" (international title: The Wolf), a fantaserye under ABS-CBN. She edged other actresses from the Philippines as she is the lone representative of the Philippines for the said category.
Angel will be competing against the best actresses of the world which includes Emma de Caunes (Night Birds - France), Cecilia Suarez (Capadocia - Mexico) and Julie Walters (A Short Stay in Switzerland - BBC United Kingdom). Angel said she is so flattered and honored to represent the country in the prestigious award giving body.
Aside from Angel, two telenovelas also made to the final list of nominees namely "Magdusa Ka" and "Kahit Isang Saglit" (international title: A Time For Us) in the Telenovela Category. The former is an entry from GMA-7 topbilled by Katrina Halili, Iwa Moto and Dennis Trillo while the latter is from ABS-CBN starred by Jericho Rosales and Carmen Soo.
