Angelite gemstone is formed from celestite that has been compressed for many millions of years. Angelite, also known as Blue Anhydrite, is a pale lilac-blue stone with a Mohs Hardness of 3.5 with a orthorhombic crystal structure which makes it suitable for carving figurines and making jewelry beads. It is a stone of awareness and promotes compassion and understanding. This stone can bring serenity, inner peace and a sense of calm. Angelite helps to dispel fear, anger and anxiety and encourages forgiveness. It also helps in self expression and communication. Healers use angelite to unblock energy pathways. It is also believed to be helpful in telepathic communication and communication with angels. Angelite is associated with the throat, third eye and crown Chakras and the zodiac sign of Aquarius.

Angelite stone is useful in treating thyroid, weight control and for reducing pains. This stone can be kept in the Northeast area for wisdom and knowledge and in the Center area for balance and harmony. This stone should be handled with utmost care as it can get easily scratched.
