The angels of God are here to support believers and also to carry out Gods wrath and Judgements.

Watchers (translates as " iyr " in Aramaic) and means, watchful, wakeful one, watcher, angel

Da:4:13: I saw in the visions of my head upon my bed, and, behold, a watcher and an holy one came down from heaven;

Da:4:23: And whereas the king saw a watcher and an holy one coming down from heaven,

They also defeated Lucifer and his Angels (Demons) and cast them to earth.

ANGELS EXISTED BEFORE MAN WAS CREATED

Ge:3:24: So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

Ex:25:18: And thou shalt make two cherubims of gold, of beaten work shalt thou make them, in the two ends of the mercy seat.
Ex:25:19: And make one cherub on the one end, and the other cherub on the other end: even of the mercy seat shall ye make the cherubims on the two ends thereof.
Ex:25:20: And the cherubims shall stretch forth their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubims be.

THE ANGELS ARE CREATED BEINGS AND ARE OF A HIGHER ORDER THAN MAN

Psalms:8:4: What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
Psalms:8:5: For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.

1) Cherubims are angels

2) Nature of angels not the same as man’s nature.

Heb:2:16: For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.

3) Will be equal at the Resurrection.

Lu:20:36: Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.

ANGELS ARE REAL BEINGS AND NOT SIMPLY GOOD THOUGHTS

They are can become visible, they talk, they can be touched, they eat, and sleep

Ge:18:1: And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day;

Ge:18:2: And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground,

Ge:18:4: Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree:

Ge:18:5: And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall pass on: for therefore are ye come to your servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said.

Ge:18:6: And Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah, and said, Make ready quickly three measures of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes upon the hearth.

Ge:18:7: And Abraham ran unto the herd, and fetcht a calf tender and good, and gave it unto a young man; and he hasted to dress it.

Ge:18:8: And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat.

Ge:19:1: And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground.

Ge:19:2: And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant's house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night.

Ge:19:3: And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat.

Psalms:78:25: Man did eat angels' food: he sent them meat to the full.

Heb:13:2: Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

THE NUMBER AND ORDER OF THE ANGELS

Da:7:10: A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.

Re:5:11: And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;

Note.......10,000 times10,000 is100,000,000, this was only part of the heavenly host

Heb:12:22: But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,

M't:26:53: Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?

A legion in Roman times was from 5000 to 6000 men. The order of the angels, as well as number, is
seen in these scriptures.

Ro:8:37: Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

Ro:8:38: For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

Eph:1:21: Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

Eph:3:10: To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

Col:1:16: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

Jude:1:6: And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

THE STRENGTH AND SURPASSING GLORY OF THE ANGELS

Da:10:5: Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz.

Da:10:6: His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude.

M't:28:2: And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.

M't:28:3: His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:

Re:18:1: And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.

Psalms:103:20: Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.

Ac:12:7: And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.
Ac:12:8: And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me.

Eze:1:13: As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, and like the appearance of lamps: it went up and down among the living creatures; and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning.

Eze:1:14: And the living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning.

Da:9:21: Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.

MINISTERING SPIRITS TO GOD’S PEOPLE

Heb:1:13: But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?
Heb:1:14: Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

Psalms:34:7: The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

Ge:28:12: And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.

Ge:24:7: The LORD God of heaven, which took me from my father's house, and from the land of my kindred, and which spake unto me, and that sware unto me, saying, Unto thy seed will I give this land; he shall send his angel before thee, and thou shalt take a wife unto my son from thence.

Ge:48:16: The Angel which redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads; and let my name be named on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.

Ex:23:20: Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.
Ex:23:21: Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.

1Ki:19:5: And as he lay and slept under a juniper tree, behold, then an angel touched him, and said unto him, Arise and eat.
1Ki:19:6: And he looked, and, behold, there was a cake baken on the coals, and a cruse of water at his head. And he did eat and drink, and laid him down again.

Da:6:22: My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.

Ac:27:23: For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve,

EVERY CHILD OF GOD HAS A GUARDIAN ANGEL

M't:18:10: Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.

Psalms:34:7: The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

Ac:12:15: And they said unto her, Thou art mad. But she constantly affirmed that it was even so. Then said they, It is his angel.

Psalms:91:11: For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

Psalms:91:12: They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

THE ANGELS ARE INTERESTED IN MAN’S SALVATION

1Pe:1:10: Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you.

1Pe:1:11: Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.

1Pe:1:12: Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.

Lu:2:9: And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
Lu:2:10: And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
Lu:2:11: For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
Lu:2:12: And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
Lu:2:13: And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
Lu:2:14: Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

Re:8:3: And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.

Re:8:4: And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand.

Lu:15:10: Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

THE ANGELS EXECUTE GOD’S JUDGMENTS

Re:15:1: And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.

Re:16:1: And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.

Ge:19:13: For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of the LORD; and the LORD hath sent us to destroy it.

Nu:22:22: And God's anger was kindled because he went: and the angel of the LORD stood in the way for an adversary against him. Now he was riding upon his ass, and his two servants were with him.

1Ch:21:14: So the LORD sent pestilence upon Israel: and there fell of Israel seventy thousand men.

1Ch:21:15: And God sent an angel unto Jerusalem to destroy it: and as he was destroying, the LORD beheld, and he repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed, It is enough, stay now thine hand. And the angel of the LORD stood by the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.

2Ch:32:21: And the LORD sent an angel, which cut off all the mighty men of valour, and the leaders and captains in the camp of the king of Assyria. So he returned with shame of face to his own land. And when he was come into the house of his god, they that came forth of his own bowels slew him there with the sword.

Ac:12:23: And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost.

M't:13:39: The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
M't:13:40: As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.
M't:13:41: The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
M't:13:42: And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

THE ANGELS WILL COME TO GATHER THE REDEEMED AT THE COMING OF THE LORD

1Th:4:16: For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

M't:24:30: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
M't:24:31: And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Two Angels were prominent in the Bible other than Lucifer, BEING Michael, and Gabriel

Gabriel

Da:8:16: And I heard a man's voice between the banks of Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision.

Da:9:21: Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.

Lu:1:19: And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings.

Lu:1:26: And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth.

Michael

Da:10:13: But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.

Da:10:21: But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince.

Da:12:1: And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

Jude:1:9: Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

Re:12:7: And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
