Angiosarcoma Symptoms
60
Angiosarcoma is a rare type of cancer that can take many years to develop and can only get detected until extremely advanced.
The disease can affect a number of organs and systems inside the body. The symptoms and distinctive features differ according to location of tumor.
Possible Symptoms of Angiosarcoma
It is often difficult to predict the damage of Angiosarcoma because
there are typically few noticeable symptoms that appear only when
cancer is already advanced. Moreover, the disease can strike anywhere
without warning. Some possible angiosarcoma symptoms are:
- Fatigue
- Anemia (low level of red blood cells)
- Bone pains
- Stabbing pains
- Dull aches
- Swelling or lump under the skin
- Skin lesions
During
diagnosis, knowing the patient’s history may help the doctor detect
Angiosarcoma at an early stage and provide various treatment options.
Exposure to carcinogens like vinyl chloride, radiation, and other
chemicals may cause damage at cellular level but take years before
tumors develop.
