Animals With Sixth Sense And Five Senses Persons
68Let us make a comparison of some incidents, where the animals behaved in the ways in which the human beings are expected to behave towards their brethren.
Recently, I observed that one goat was running around my car, bleating like anything. When my chauffeur, just started the vehicle, to the surprise of everybody around, we saw a pup, relaxing, near the back wheel, in the shade under the car, which nobody around us spotted, running away from the car. Thus, the goat was instrumental in saving the life of a pup.
I was eye witness to another incident at a railway station, where I could see one ‘humane animal’- a stray dog rescuing a goat, from near death. A goat was just ‘grazing’ the eatables whatever available in between the two railings (running in between the platforms on both sides). One dog was barking at this goat and nobody took any meaning to it. But, it was later seen that a train was slowly approaching the goat. The goat did not see this imminent loss of life to it but was busy grazing, to secure the temporary life through satiating its hunger. The dog intensified its barking and was successful in driving away the goat to the safe place, after a distance of about 200 meters. The passengers’ efforts to drive the goats, it seemed, were not that much serious as that of the goat.
Besides the domestic animal, the wild animals have also this tendency of love and kindness. A news item that recently appeared depicted an elephant that delivered her young calf, which unfortunately was still born. Observing this, the mammal ran around the dead calf and the surroundings, crying for a long time and also trumpeting loudly as if to seek the help from its herd. Shortly, some elephants came to the spot, mourned the death, ‘consoled’ the bereaved beast, and took it with them into the jungle. We already knew some incidents where a cat feeding the cubs.
Domestic and forest animals, with five senses and which do not seem to have any rationale in them, saved their fraternity or took part in the condolence.
Turning to the human side, it is a sorry state of affairs that a day does not pass without any incident as to human beings murdering his or her own breed, still more cold-blooded incident is that a person slaying his own blood relative. All these are for some filthy purposes and out of emotion of just a short period existence. When left alone later, the culprit feels for the incident and wish such an incident did not take place at all. So, the solution is simple and lies in just controlling the emotion. Though it could not immediately happen overnight, it is possible, in due course of time, that we tame our mind through meditation and other activities involving love and kindness.
We neglect to apply the sixth sense, which the five senses living beings, supposed not to possess, have started applying and demonstrate before us as a solid example. We shall pledge to emulate those patterns of behaving.
Other ways include embrace a spiritual life (for this, one need not become a saint), understanding the rationale behind our ‘incarnation’ into this world and totally surrendering to the Omni–potent.
