Ann Sieg's, The Renegade Network Marketer

This book, written by Ann Sieg, is the first book that I read that made me think I really could be successful in my network marketing business. I've jotted down some of the opening letter in the book. This is what Ann says, but I wrote it again here because it really hits home. As struggling network marketers, we begin to wonder what's wrong with us. Why are we not becomming successful, like they said we would if we would just be "coachable and trainable".

This is some of what Ann has to say. I've tweaked it a little so that it made more sence coming from me. Can you relate?

The Renegade Network Marketer book is the most enlightening and eye opening book on MLM and/or Network Marketing I have ever read.

Have you ever looked at the successful super stars in this industry? They have everything their hearts desire. Have you ever wondered, what are they doing that I'm not? The name, The Renegade Network Marketer, fits so well. You will be learning stuff you will not hear from your company or upline. Should you decide to act on what you have read, it's very possible that you will encounter some resistance from them. (It's not their fault...they just don't know any better)

Look, you can't please everyone. There will alway be a handful of people who won't like what you have to say or what you are doing and they don't mind telling you. Don't worry about them. When you stop worring about what everyone thinks of you is when you will truly reach your full potential. In business, you have to be thick skinned. Ignore the cynics and move on.

We all know this stuff is important, but I think they get too much emphasis in this industry. Overdoing the "positive thinking" can litterally lead to "action paralysis".

After years of pouring my heart and soul into this business I had had enough of being told that all I needed was a big enough "why" to succeed. We all know that in order to succeed in anything, a person needs to have a nuts and bolts knowledge of how to actually do it. To tell someone that all they need is motivation to succeed is an insult to their intelligence.

We all have a why. What we need is a how.

The objective of this book, The Renegade Network Marketer, is to give you a how. Don't get me wrong, having a good attitude goes a long way in life and business, but absolutely nothing will take the place of action. No amount of dreams or goals....by themselves...will ever get you to where you want to be. They are completely meaningless if you don't take action. This book gives you the step by step actions to take.

The overwhelming majority of people who enter the network marketing industry, do so with no intentions of becoming the professional they need to be.
