Some of the best Secrets are hidden on plain sight
I had ran into Ann Sieg's eBook "7 Great Lies of Network Marketing" on my earlier excursions into the Internet, but it wasn't until my sister recommended it that I decided to get it.
Why did I need my sister's prompting me to read Ann's book?
Well, because I had prejudged the book. I thought it was one more of those hate pieces, that I had ran into before while surfing the Internet, where the author new nothing about Network Marketing, and was just putting it down as a the biggest scam ever conceived.
You see I have been in network marketing on and off for the past 20 years. I believe in the concept, I have benefited from the products, but I hadn't broken the code to building a really big organization.
When you are in Network Marketing you develop a thick skin, it is not the most popular thing to be (a Network Marketer), and I was used to people pocking fun at me. But I wasn't going to read something that I thought was going put Network Marketing down one more time.
Well like I said before I was wrong.
In the book Ann tells her story of how she and her son were Network Marketers, and the different techniques that they had tried to get people to join their opportunity, and their experiences were just like mine. Ann tells the reader how she was working the business hard, but nothing spectacular was happening.
Has that happened to you? You go out there and bust your butt everyday, and at the end of the day you have very little to show for all your efforts. Ann tells how out of desperation one day she started to study standard Marketing techniques, like the ones that the traditional businesses apply. And she decided to give them a try.
Against her up-line's advice she forged on. To her surprise she started to have people approach her and asked to join her opportunity, but that is the subject for another of Ann's books.
The "7 Great Lies of Network Marketing" is not a how to book but rather a book of truth. And just like with every book that tells it like it is, you are either going to love it or hate it, but you cannot ignore it. It is a free book so you have nothing to lose.
Ann’s book was the first book that addressed the concerns that I had the very first time I joined a MLM company, but I was told to keep my concerns to myself. Because I would fail, if I focused on them.
For the next 20 years I had stuck my head in the ground like and ostridge and ignored those concerns, which I now know, kept me from being successful.
Ann not only addressed my concerns, she also gave me a solution and a road map, so I now know what I have to do to be successful. I highly recommend to read Ann Sieg’s e-book. Keep and open mind while you read it, some of the things Ann says in the book are not very popular.
Like I said before it can change the way you do business. It did for me, for the better.

Good hub ...I am one of those people that crossed over the line and became a legend of a company ..but the company closed in five years. The only thing I will suggest to you is never give up your data base.
I love network marketing and learned a lot about people and just building a business. I have been in business for myself all of my working career. Actually business is always networking. Internet business is networking. Affiliate sales is networking. ..It is too bad some people do not realize the potential in networking.
But the end of the story ..I started my own marketing business. It is successful and fun.
If you love people ...I agree with MLM success wave ...don't ever turn up your nose unless you have tried it ...It is a people business and it is fun.
My best to you and your success!
