I like recipe sites, relationship sites, how to sites, etc. But clearly the American people are under threat from what they do not know about politics. It is necessary that the American electorate be informed about the dangers of the neoconservative (neocon) party. This subject should be featured on Hubpages and like websites and communities. These communites have the power to make politics real, make the subject front and center, make politics a front page item!

If people had been paying attention to politics, there would have been a recession in 2001, but not a threat for depression. There would have been a downturn after the dot com bust, but there would not have been the intractable housing and credit crisis that was the result of credit bubbles spawned by the Bush adminstration. Ecommerce is not immune to this failure to put politics front and center. Yet we continue to make this mistake, over and over again!

The neocons are not forever banished from power in America. Their policies have infected the democrats, many of whom I call demcons. They also have two potential candidates that could wreck havoc on the American political system in the future. One is PNAC member Jeb Bush. The other is Dominionist/Neocon hybrid, Sarah Palin.

One flaw in the concept of "news" is that it gets old, stale, and dated. Yet historians know better. News chronicled becomes a historical record. This historical record is important. Nothing unnerves me more than to see some bozo mainstream website deleting historical news because it it "dated". How else are we going to find out what events are impacting thought in our age? The internet is a place where we could actually learn from our mistakes. But oh no, the mainstream media just wants to get hits and clicks on google ads, as if they have no responsibilities for being stewards of the historical record contained in their pages!

I certainly hope that the communities above mentioned will take the higher road. I have, with this thought in mind, decided to collect the best anti neocon Hubs in one place. I hope that they are useful reading for those wanting to find out more about what the neocons have been doing while the American electorate (the majority of voters) have been sleeping.

The neocon war party wanted an excuse to go into Iraq. They wanted oil and they wanted it prior to the first election of George Bush 2. It is a matter of historical record that the neocons through the organization Progress for the New American Century, or PNAC, wanted a 9/11 or Pearl Harbor type event and published that hope one full year prior to 9/11. If you think this was a coincidence I have a bridge in Florida that I want to sell you. 

While you don't have to believe in a 9/11 conspiracy to be anti neocon, it helps to understand this dreadful event in its proper perspective. 

The government of Israel threw their support behind the neocons. The fascists of America became the allies of Israel. Where in Jewish law or in Jewish history does neocon fascism have any foothold? Oh how far the Israelis have fallen in relation to their own values! My natural father was Jewish. I believe that the United States and the world have a responsibilty to help Israel because the world sanctioned Israel, though I have written elsewhere on generous reparations for the Palestinians, who's land was stolen.

But the government of Israel did not have to resort to getting in bed with the neocons. People are angry at the neocons for a senseless War for Oil in Iraq, for a credit crisis, and for a potential depression.The neocons caused all of this with their policies under the administration of Bush 2.

Did the Israelis have anything to do with 9/11? I certainly hope that is not the case. There is evidence that there were some with duel citizenship that were involved. But the Israelis simply cannot repeat the fascistic errors of the past. Americans have always supported their hopes as a nation. But it is time they started to hold to their own sense of morality for the support to continue.
