Any Good Diet Supplements out There?
46What Actually Works?
I have done quite a bit of research on this topic. I'm only going to talk about natural supplements because I don't promote the use of ephedra or anything that does more harm than good. Besides whats the point of being fit on the outside if your destroying your inside?
One of the first herbs I have researched is The popular herb Hoodia.
Hoodia is a cactus like plant that grows in green up-right stems. It is said that the San Bushmen of the Kalahri Desert relied on hoodia for thousands of years to ward off hunger and thirst on long hunting trips. Hoodia takes about 5 years to be harvested, there are over 13 types of hoodia, the most potent form comes from South Africa. The active ingredient in hoodia's structure is a steroidal glyoside named (p57). The main function of hoodia is appetite suppresson.
Another popular one that I think everybody knows is Green Tea. This herb has been used by the Chinese for over 4000 years. It's main ingredient is (EGCG) epigallocatechin gallate which is a very powerful antioxidant. Twice as powerful as resveratol a polyphenol that limits the negative side effects of smoking and a fatty diet (it's found in red wine). The main way Green Tea affects weightloss is it's ability to burn calories and of course the EGCG that protects against high fat diets.
I have run across a site www.thin77.info with both of these herbs in one pill. They have added some extras in their formula that I found interesting, so... here I go: --Yerba Mate- is a type of tea found is countries like paraguay and argentina. It's has high antioxidant levels in it also but its main objective would be energy from (mateine) it has similar properties of caffeine but it doesn't cause dependancy like caffeine. --Guarana- this herb has some great properties but I would say that its main objective in this weightloss product would be that it has a substance that is very similar in its chemical makeup to caffeine..--White Willow Bark- This herb is native to Europe and Asia, --Cha' De Bugre- is native to Brazil and is an appetite suppressant.--Vitamin B6- this is one everybody knows but ...good for protein metabolism, healthy red blood cells, immune function, dopamine and serotonin levels and production of neurotransmitters. So I thought with them adding all these beneficial ingredients www.thin77.info is definitely worth looking into.
