Apache Junction is beautiful! Lovely rolling hills, scenic sunsets and a proximity to Downtown Phoenix which makes it the ideal place to choose for relocation. You would think that the town is hot but no, the town enjoys an mild climate and there is so much to do and see that you wont get bored.

What I found really intriguing was the name of the mountain range associated with the town: Superstition Range! Wow! With a name like that, it’s for granted that the town and the mountain range has a fascinating history and famous locales attached to it! I really loved the idea of having a ghost town attached to the Town. And Goldfield Ghost town is a prime attraction to the 40,000 winter visitors who come in to see it. The Goldfield Ghost town was once bustling with miners who exploited the gold vein running through the town. Now the gold vein has been mined out but the Apache Junction Chamber of Commerce hosts regular reenactments like Gunfights, underground mine tours, a narrow gauge railroad and jeep and hiking tours of the mines to replicate the Wild West atmosphere. Do take the time to check out the history of the place when you plan to visit.
