Ebionites

In the infancy of Christianity, followers of Jesus were Jewish. They were known as the Ebionites. Ebionites before the death of Christ were known as the Nazarenes. After the death of Jesus, it was James that continued on with Christ messages. Some believe the origin of the Gospel of Hebrew was written by a disciple of James or James himself. Other scholars and Catholic leadership think the book of Hebrew was a later writing authored by the Apostle Paul. This is also when the world was first introduced to Judeo-Christian. Jesus taught his disciples and their followers to remain in the faith of God, follow the laws of Moses, and be one with him (Christ). At first, the only thing that separated Judeo-Christians from other Jewish sects, was the simple fact that not all Jews recognized Jesus of Nazareth, as the son of God. Many Jews considered Christ to be a prophet of God. He accompanied some of the faith's other well respected and revered prophets like that of; Melchizedek, Daniel, Enoch, and Ezekiel.

When the Dead Sea Scrolls were found, (in eleven different caves around Khirbet Qumran between the years of 1947-1956), worldly Scholars were forced to rethink Christianity. They were forced to re-evaluate the core to the earliest known Christians and to the place inwhich they became divided. The symbol of the fish; known to Modern-Christians as a symbol of Christianity, was actually a Ebionites sign of worship. It was the symbol that let other Ebionites, and new Christian inductees to which places were safe to meet and worship.

In the Gospel of Thomas, Jesus disciples asked, “We know you’ll leave us. Who’ll then rule over us?”

Jesus then answered them; “Were ever you arrive, go to James who is righteous, because of whom, even heaven and earth came into existence; now tell me whom I resemble.”

James, Son of Joseph, brother of Jesus

James is the blood brother of Christ. He was also known as “James the Just”. James was a very pragmatic man. He was consider a warrior or terrorist to the Romans, because he taught others to fight in the name of Christ. After all he was Jewish. He believed in ‘an eye for eye and a tooth for tooth’. He honored that verse found in Genesis, and so he fought back against the Roman dictatorship in the name of Jesus Christ, & their religious freedom. It was James and a party of Christian Ebionite followers that Saul/Paul was hunting on the road to Damascus, when God blinded him by light. Interesting facts that they don't teach you in bible school.

Pauline Doctrine

Saul, How Paul Changed the Face of Christianity.

First of all, let us get this straight Paul never met Jesus. He didn't know him. Moreover, Paul never spoke to Jesus Christ, like James had. Paul was a bounty hunter for the Romans. His job was collecting founding followers of Christ for persecution. Most of the early Christians Paul captured were sold to the Romans and died in the games at the Colosseum. It was when Paul was chasing down Jesus’s brother, James, that Paul was stopped by God.

The Pauline Epistles are the letters Paul wrote. You can safely say that Paul was the first gentile to believe in Christ. All other followers were Jews. Unlike Jesus Christ or James, Paul was uncircumcised. He was also uneducated in the ancient Hebrew religion and faith of Judaism. Jews were mere pawns in Paul's early life, after all he worshiped Jupiter as his Patron God. Paul was a Pagan for the better part of his adult life. He was the exact opposite of James.

In the pagan world, woman were of little importance. Not like that of the Jewish world, inwhich women are glorified as keepers of the household. For Paul, a womens purpose on earth was to breed more Romans, and be servants of men. His letters and writings are very clear on this matter. In fact in his pagan religion, women wore shrouds over their hair in their places of worship. Jewish women wore them day in and day out. When Paul found God, two separate groups were formed. There were the Ebionites led by James, and the Paulines led by Paul. Paul’s popularity didn't not grow until James was eventually captured by the Romans, and stoned to death. After which, the newly formed faith was in great need of a leader. Paul fit the bill. Paul and his teachings were also much easier for Gentiles to conform too. You didn’t have to know the strict doctrine of the Torah. In fact, it wasn’t until around 330 AD that the Torah was recognized to the Paulines as a doctrine of God AND Jesus Christ. The Old testament is missing over a dozen books that can be found in the Torah. Pauline Christians are taught that the Old Testament is the Torah, only it’s name had changed. It is fact however; the Christian Holy Bible only contains the exact same 5 books of Moses.

The Three Big Religion’s Family Tree

  1. If you are a “Modern-Day” Christian, (excluding Morons and Gnostics) your family tree starts with Arabham, branching off to Moses and then branching off to Jesus, then to the teachings of Apostle Paul’s.
  2. If you are Islamic, your tree starts with Abraham, bypassing Moses, and branching off to recognize the Great Prophet Jesus of Nazareth, and ending with Muhammed.
  3. The Jewish religion hardy recognizes Abraham as the Patriarchal Father anymore, but rather they would prefer if the could start with Moses as the Patriarch. They are still waiting for a Saviour from God. They have been waiting since before the 10th Century BCE.
  4. Pauline epistles, some thirteen or fourteen letters in the New Testament of the Christian Bible traditionally believed to have been written by the apostle Paul. As can be found in order on Wikipedia.com.

Interesting article. I like to read all points of view. It should be pointed out, however, that the Gospel of Thomas is widely considered a Gnostic writing meaning it was most likely written 200 or 300 years after the life of Christ. The Gospel itself is not widely accepted by Christians. I mention this because your reference to "go to James". It is most obvious and accepted that Jesus Gave the "keys" to his church on earth to Peter, not James.

Fact;

There are many types, beliefs, and levels of Christianity. Approximately 97% of the world’s Christians believe and follow the Pauline Doctrine. Moreover, over seventy-five percent of them, lack the basic knowledge in their historical base. These Christians are fully unaware of the influences that have affected and molded their fundamental teachings of today and our past. Those within this fellowship that have this knowledge were forced to remain quite. Most notably, these Christian outcasts kept to their silence in fear of what other Christians might say or do to them. As a lover of Jesus Christ, and once ousted Sunday school teacher- I personally believe that there are many details to Christianity that should not be ignored. However, through the centuries Christians are still denied exploration into our history.  The result has no left us ignorant to the truths of our past.
