Add the wet ingredients to your batter and stir till gooey.

Put the batter into baking dishes
This recipe will fill two deep dish baking dishes or 3 regular cake pans.
I recommend deep dish pans because the cake does rise quite a bit if allowed.
Oil and flour your baking pans. Then divide your batter mix into the bottom of your baking dishes.
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Crumble your crumb topping ingredients together.
Scoop the apples onto the top of the batter mix.
Divide the crumb mixture onto the top of the apples.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes.
Add a scoop of ice cream, or whip topping, and enjoy!
Apples
Apples are one of nature's most nutritious foods. They are rich in antioxidants, flavonoids, and fiber. They help to remove heavy metal poisons from our body, aide in lung health, and provide us with a rich array of nutrients. Just be sure to eat the skin of the apple because a many of the apple's nutrients are found within or just under the skin.
One medium, or about a two and a half inch apple, will contain
approximately 10 mg of calcium, 10 mg of phosphorous, 159 mg of
potassium, 8 mg of vitamin C, 73 IU of vitamin A, 4mcg of Folate, .25
mg of iron and 4 grams of
dietary fiber. This same apple also contains a mere 81 calories, 21 grams of carbohydrates, and does not contain sodium.
One of the best aspects of an apple though is it's taste. They can be crisp, tarty, or sweet, and they taste like a tiny drop of pure heaven when they are baked up into a tasty dessert treat. Do something wonderful for your family today. Bake up an apple crisp, pie or cake.
