Apple launches iPhone App Store has 28 Pages of Applications

Apple will launch iPhone 3G tomorrow and has launched their new App Store today so iPhone buyers can see what applications they may need.
You can download the new iTunes 7.7 version here and check out the App Store. Previous owners can download to their old iPhones but they will need the iPhone 2.0 software to make these applications run, which will be available tomorrow along with the iPhone 3G. Till then customers can have a preview of the App Store. TechCrunch's Michael Arrington reported that there are nearly 27 pages of applications in the App Store. I was unable to see it but I will try again to see them later. Here are some snapshots from the App Store. I see many applications with prices $0.99 only. Arrington also found plenty of books listed under applications category and most of them were available for $0.99. Soon eBooks at Apple Store will rival Palm and Amazon Kindle eBooks. With so many applications available already and there will be even more very soon, it makes Apple iPhone 3G a giant in the Smartphone industry. Others like Blackberry, Windows Mobile, and Palm have a lot of catching up to do and may even spell doom for some.

Yes for an iPhone 3G customer :), Are you planning to buy one? I still have a year left in my contract.
What would happen if Apple and Google put their heads together?? I think Gates would hide.
Yes, but both of them have given us great products over the last 10 years. :)
