Appliance Repair Story
62Mrs. Fix-It
I was reading this hub about washing machines here: http://hubpages.com/_2ypa3cgs4ompm/hub/washing_machine
when I remembered a funny appliance story.
I'm part of a reinactment group that dresses up in Renaissance clothing. A friend of mine told me this story.
Normally Norma works for Sears as an appliance repair person. She goes to people's houses to fix their dishwashers, washers and dryers. I'm sure she wears coveralls or a typical fix-it uniform.
Anyway, one day she is all dressed up for the Renaissance Faire, which means her double D's are in a tight little bodice and she has a long full skirt on. She has to swing by the Sears office to pick up her paycheck before she drives to the fair.
So she goes to the office, and lo and behold a male customer of hers is in there. He takes a gander at what she's wearing and all that amazing cleavage. Then he says, "Damn, if you dressed like that to fix my appliances, they'd be breaking down all the time."
