Most of today's gamers have Halo, Mario, and even Gears of War, or newer games like LittleBigPlanet or Uncharted. now, these games look amazing, and play very well, but for those of us who grew up with arcades, we remember the days of quarter munching pinball games like Pin-Bot, and the countless hours spent in front of Joust, Sinistar, and even a few rounds of Altered Beast.

However, in the new generation, arcades are far and few found. In fact, i can't even find any unless they're in a big name hotel, or amusement parks like Six Flags. i used to go to the bowling alley just down the street to play the Donkey Kong Machine, until i found out about the game killing bug, of course.

Lately, ive been looking over my XBox 360, and all of the online "Arcade Titles" they offer, and was shocked to discover the service is actually offering Joust, and few other staples, including Pac Man. Now, playing with the controller isn't the exact same as my halycon days in front of the machine, but i remeber them well, and love the feeling i get from these games.

I showed a few of these to my friends, who only played newer games and to my surprise they had more fun with them than newer games. it would seem the magic hasn't been lost even after almost 30 years. next time you get the chance, go visit the listing, and see if your favorite game from your childhood has been revived to relive your glory days!
