Arctic Monkeys UK Tour 2009

Sheffield Finest the Arctic Monkeys have announced they are to tour the UK in November 2009, their first tour since 2007. The Arctic Monkeys only played a handful of dates this year, the main ones being their headlining sets at the reading festival and leeds festival during the August Bank Holiday Weekend. The Arctic Monkeys do not play live that often, and there shows are always a guaranteed sell out.
Alex Turner, Jamie Cook, Matt Helders and Nick O'Malley have confirmed the dates of their forthcoming UK tour with support from Eagles of Death Metal. Fresh from headlining this year's Leeds and Reading Festival, the band will be playing tracks from their third studio album, 'Humbug' as well as their two previous LP's.
Arctic Monkeys are an indie rock band who formed in High Green, Sheffield, England in 2002. Each of the band's first five singles I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor, When the Sun Goes Down, Leave Before the Lights Come On, Brianstorm and Fluorescent Adolescent hit the UK Top Five, with a sixth Teddy Picker going Top 20.
