Before I move forward with this, I must WARN you that if you think you have a weak stomach, leave this hubpage now because:

What I’m about to say MAY offend some of you. Hell, it may offend ALL YOU.

In fact, when I first read about this in a forum I visit often here at Betternetworker, I nearly pissed my pants.

There some past “Inner Demons” I didn’t expose because frankly – I was a little scared to admit it when I first started marketing online with the conpect of “attraction marketing” burned into my skull.

Like most of you reading this here, odds are, you were TOLD it was politically “correct” to tell the world that you are a bonafide attraction marketer, when the reality is that most so called attraction marketers are posing for the camara and do not actually DO what attraction marketers do to run real, successful mlm network marketing business.

You’ve probably seen it a million times on various social networking sites, more famously - YouTube Videos – of a bunch of people bursting onto the scence like a bad movie outtake talking about what it takes to be an “attraction marketer” online when they themselves are NOT doing what it REALLY TAKES to be a TRUE Attraction Marketer

But let’s set one thing straight: I am comfortable coming out and saying I’m hardly a saint. I was one of those “Fake it till you make it” attraction marketers for quite some time. For several months actually, until I came across this magnetic sponsoring course book by Mike dillard of attraction marketing fame.

-- A Freakin' Sweet Abraham Recording -- A Must Listen --

So what DOES it take to be a TRUE “Attraction Marketer”?

The answers quite simple really - Make the effort to do what attraction marketers do on a consistent basis.

Know what your goal is (generate x amount of leads or x amount of dollars) and work backwards on what you want to achieve. Create specific steps to achieving does goals and focus your attention on how you can give the most value to achieve your desired results.

You must create a system (or plug into this system to make the process alot easier for you) that will allow you to systemize your efforts and the efforts of your team so they can easily duplicate your results and get started generating cash flow immediately.

Attraction Marketers don’t screw around when it comes to getting their hands a little dirty. While “fake it till you makers” dance around the thought of doing the real work to get real results.

They practice what they preach and teach it to others, while the majority of “Fake it till you make it” mlm network marketers are doing nothing more than screaming at the top of their lungs that they too, are attraction marketers.

As you become more advanced, you will see you will rarely if ever have to prove to anyone or anybody that you are an attraction marketer.

You simple ARE.

So now you decide, - are you faker, or a maker?

So Which One Are You (Don't be embarrased, just be honest - that's the first step!)

  • I'm faking it till I make it - for now - but that's chaning now that I read this hubpage
  • I've been using REAL attraction marketing strategies to build my business

Very nice hub Josef. I like your style! I look forward to reading more of your work.

So many of us were schooled in the old ways; there's a lot of unlearning going on. Thank goodness people like Mike Dillard and Ann Sieg burst on the scene to set us in the right direction.

To your $uccess,

Irene Kirkman aka Renegade Coach

The whole attraction marketing thing I find entirely off-putting its just the online version of the salesman who comes across nice but won't let you leave without signing on the bottom line. They make me uncomfortable in real life and online. I think the only way to really sell is to add value to your customers. Not value to you value to them.

Its a long haul strategy and one of the big cons of online marketing is that it can happen overnight - anyone starting off better have a way of supporting themselves for a least a year or 2 !

Honestly, if it weren't for the likes of Ann and Mike, I would not be where I'm at today.

Although I will admit, I would still have acheived the success I have (I studied real estate and invested heavely in currencies) I don't think I would be as fulfilled with my line of work as I am today.

They gave me the hope I was looking for in the network marketing business, and it changed my life

Leslie, that's pretty awesome you came around here! I like the articles you put out on your hub.

I do agree that it takes a "little" time to start to see results, but it certainly doesn't take 1 to 2 years *from my personal experience anyway*. It really shouldn't take MORE than 90 days if your consistent and if your in a vibrational frequency to accept the money that flows.

That's not to exclude adding value, as money isn't going to come out of thin air. That's where the "adding value" comes into play...but attraction marketing is relaly a state of mind - not a right of passage as most people parade it to be.

"Oh, I just finished reading Magnetic Sponsoring, that suddenly makes me an attraction marketer". Well, it could happen that fast, but for most of us there is a inner growth that must take place beforewe start to see physical results...and that is where I would agree, it doesn't happen overnight.

As far as the first half of the comment:

Not sure if you've had a past bad experience with dealing with network marketers, but I'm giving you permission to forgive those who left a bad taste in your mouth, as I assure you all of us arn't like that.

When it comes to value, I know that you must also market (aka sales) it in the marketplace. People can't find it if they don't know it's there, so It's my job to not only CREATE value, but to market it effectively as well. I know many people who have great value to offer to the marketplace, but have no idea how to make a dime from it.

Its Lis or Lissie :-) Sorry but its nothing about my ability to accept cash - perhaps I should put a donate now button on my blog LOL! Its about how long Google takes to rank a site consistently in the SERPS 6-12 months - longer for highly competitive topics.

I have good friends who are excellent marketers - real estate sales which is real tough. But the other 90% are useless because the desparation shows - like trying to get a date when you REALLY want one!

Definitly Lissie (sorry for the name mix up), there is a cross between what is there (like a bunch of people going for the same thing and an abundant mentality). I personally believe alot of the rules people believe are there, aren't really there unless you believe there there.

People short site themselves when they target keywords like "make money online" when there are hundreds of thousands of keywords that people search for you can easily rank within a few weeks - not several months.

Heck, there are keywords that SHOULD take me months to rank for, that I get easily within 30 days...it depends on the person and how they approach it.

I can totally relate to your last statement. A date can go sour really fast if the other can smell the desperation in your voice and body language. The same exact thing , I found, goes with business.

By the way, when I say "you", i'm not directing my statements AT you...it's just easier for me to speak in generalization.

Your a really cool person to talk with.
