Are You Feeding The Negatives?
66Matthew 24:36

These are Words written in red in my Bible, which means they are Words of Jesus Christ. The Son of God said it; are you hearing it?
The Hype
There has been many who claim that the end will be in 2012.
Do you recall all the hype around the year 2000? How all computers would crash? Did it happen?
NO!
Are you jumping on the bandwagon?
Will you go see the movie?
Not me!
I have heard so many predictions as to what will happen and they are all negative. It pains me that Christians are buying into this melodrama. Read those Words in red. Only God knows when it will end and His end is only a new beginning for those of us who trust and rely on Him.
Yes many of the prophetic words are coming true, but many claimed during Hitler's reign that Jesus would be coming during the Nazi spree.
By supporting the predictions of a solar flare, a meteorite destroying the Earth, and all others, you are feeding negatives.
People with sick minds are buying into it and doing things they normally wouldn't.
We, as Christians, are to share the Love of Jesus. We are not to spread discourse which is happening.
False prophets abound. Will you listen and heed to their lies and deceit?
My family and I will live as if Jesus could come today or 200 years from now. We will not support the movie 2012 or any of the hype surrounding it.
What will you do?
Is Jesus your Savior? Is He your Lord? Is He your Friend?
Read and heed the Word, because if you are believing what man is saying about 2012 you are not. You are believing a Mayan calendar and a group that worshipped many gods and threw virgin girls to their deaths off cliffs as sacrifices to gods that don't exist. The Mayans don't exist anymore, but mankind is acting as if they were the smartest and they know what would happen to us.
My, my, my--how stupid can mankind be?
I will trust in my God; the God of Jacob, Abraham and David. I will trust in His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. I will not trust some tribe of ancient Mexico that isn't around anymore and I hope you won't either.

The movie is false to the Word of God so I choose to not buy in.

I do not believe in censorship--but I do believe in opinions--It is my opinion that I probably won't watch the movie--if you want to, that is your choice completely.
I have seen the Movie. and I don't think its going to happen that way.

I don't have a sick mind or a negative view of the Mayan Calendar, but I buy into it.. And why not? (unless out of some fear of an unknown diety taking vengance upon me for entertaining the idea.. Does that ideal qualify as fearmongering upon impressionable minds?)

Revivor (or anyone else willing to field a biblical philosophy question), A question: aren't Jesus and God supposed to be part of the same being (Trinity)? That's why you are allowed to worship Jesus without considering him a false idol, correct?
If that is correct, then how can Matthews words "But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only" be correct? Shouldn't Jesus know everything that God knows?
Or is worshipping Jesus actually worshipping something other/lesser than God?

The mayans were pretty smart, buddy.. Their calendar is 10 times more accurate than ours (doesn't require a leap year), they were aware of the planets and the solar system back when the majority of the human population thought the world was flat!
By not seeing the movie before speaking out against it you have made some strong assumptions. A few point from the movie: (spoiler alert)
1. The world doesn't end
2. They build Arks to save humanity (and two of each animal, sound familiar?)
3. In the end they find their humanity at the moment when all seems lost
4. If anything, the movie should solidify your faith in God.
