Are You Storing Toxins in Your Body?
60
People are getting fatter almost everywhere in the world. In the Western world 30-40% of the population is now clinically obese, whereas in Asia it is as low as 0-5%
Obesity is a big problem. It increases the risk of developing a large number of diseases such as:
- Type 2 (adult-onset) diabetes
- High blood pressure (hypertension)
- Stroke
- Heart attack
- Cancer (e.g. cancer of the prostate)
- Gout
- Osteoarthritis (degenerative arthritis)
Why are we Getting Fatter?
There are many theories as to why we are getting fatter and one of the latest and most persuasive is that we are taking in far too many toxins into our bodies, and not doing anything to remove them. The toxins come from our environment, primarily in the food and drink we consume. There are so many chemicals in or on food today such as fertilizers, preservatives, flavourings etc.
Our body is designed to naturally rid us of the toxins that we consume. This is primarily done by the liver. However, many medical experts believe that we are overloading our systems with these toxins. The liver is simply not able to process them fast enough so it has to “park” them somewhere, and to do this it encourages the body to accumulate fat in which the toxins can be stored.
Reverse the Trend with a Detox!
Now the simplest way to get rid of all that fat on your body is to reverse the process by which it got there.
So if you limit the intake of the toxins and remove the existing ones from the body (known as detoxification or detox) then the body has no reason to store the extra fat and will naturally and quickly get rid of it. The weight literally falls off.
It is best to detox through a combination of good diet and herbal detox products. For more information about losing excess fat and becoming much healthier at the same time check out this site
