Are father's less emotional when taking care of babies?
55This is in response to the above Question!!!
Really its not a case of men being less emotional, but rather that we are wired differently.
For starters our brains are set up differently. The brain comprises of the left and right hemispheres.
The women's brain has a hair line crack separating the hemispheres , as a result information passes rapidly between the left / right , thus they are more in touch with their emotions. A good example of this is the fact that a wife can be on the phone chatting, cooking and watching her husband who is supposed to be watching the children...women do this with such ease and fail to understand why men cannot do this.
Men on the other had have a chasm dividing the hemispheres, so as a result information passes at a slower rate. The average male takes ten minutes to process new information, which is why during a conversation with their wives they will suddenly give her the answer to a question she asked ten minutes ago. As a result men are less emotional and can generally keep it together in a crisis..( healthy ones that is :0) )
This is just a short example of our differences , but the more we study our differences the easier we can communicate...one is not better than the other, just wired differently and we complement each other.... If you go to a foreign country if your wise you learn all about that culture...same thing in relationships....do your home work and life will be a little easier as you appreciate each others differences and remember when the man goes to his nothing Box its of limits because he is recharging, while the women is reloading :0)
OK! that's my ten cents Worth :0)

Yes I think we should have more women in goverment, after all god made them man and women ,so working together they are a wonderful example of his creation!!!
I was in london England when Margret Thacther was in office, loved her, she was a women of her word!!!
Never read The Real Obama, did you write it ?
Great to hear your thoughts about this matter...:-) Much love and light.
Hi Michelle :0)
Thaks for dropping By !!!!!
Love to you :0)
Mike, I'm wondering...how many kids do you have? :-)
The worlds my Oyster :0)
That was really funny and more or less true. You reminded me of John Gray's 'Men are from Mars and Women from Venus'. They are definitely wired differently. Neither one ought to be blamed for that, though. They certainly compliment each other. Loved reading it.
Hi Anjali :0)
Thank you,
sorry have been a stranger, not had much time for writing lately...I played the game men mars etc but never read the book.....
Have a great week !!!

Interesting theory and I like that you emphasize that differences are not necessarily negative - your physiology is a little off - there are differences between the brains of men and women, but we all (except in very rare circumstances) have a band of cells - the corpus callosum which connects the two hemispheres and assists in transfer of information.
Hi Cazat :0)
Thank you for the physiology update :0) I learn something new every day. I now have a new friend called Corpus Callosum and he was there all along LOL
Thanks for your comments Michael :0)

I would like to answer before I read the hub. Perhaps we are emotional when we do not know what to do. :-).
Now I read the hub. You are on target Mike. Do you think that we should have more women in the government? But I just brought in hub idea why we have in government too much spending.
Have you read the hub: Real Obama?
