This article is about shopping and having fun and at the same time getting paid. This article is written from personal experience but still is not advertising or endorsing a company. What do you have to do? You have to be disciplined, you have to have great time management and you must follow through on your committments by faxing back research results as instructed.

You can make up to $1200 a month realistically, but you must be a go-getter and you must be a rolling stone and not limit the places that you apply to shop and have fun at.(Except maybe the restaurants) No one is going to send you a check made out from Walmart so that you can use your bank to trace it while they are stealing the funds in your bank account. There are no known contacts to the Nigerian government where it has been found that you are the long lost once removed cousin of King Tut.

You need to go to Shadowshopper.com and apply for either a silver, bronze, or gold membership. Those metallic colors remind you of the Olympic winners as they stand on those ridiculous podiums holding up their trophies. You will not have to work as hard but you must be able to work in a disciplined manner to turn in your faxed reports as guided by your shopper boss company.

If you are a newbie, apply for the most inexpensive membership which is the silver. Take all of the online tests to become certified as a shopper. The testing is not necessary but don't you want to be the best at what you do? The testing is simple and you can be retested if it took two to tango. Read up on the site and follow all the advice. Read as much as you can from the shoppers who are actually out there making thousands of dollars a month. Some of these shoppers travel and enjoy all kinds of extras being responsilble only for letting the paying company know about the company they are working for. This is not secret shopping. This shopping is more or less research shopping and most of the time you do not have to buy anything.  If you do expend $5.00 the company reimburses the expense. Consider yourself as a part of their Research and Development Department. Someone has to know if the companies are providing the utmost satisfaction to their customers.

That is the jest of this "Be Your Own Boss" scenario and you get a chance to get out and enjoy yourself. Do not overload yourself with work and make sure that with the again rising gas prices that you do not select companies to research that are way across town unless you just got it like that and want it all.
