Are these ghost in the pictures?

This is our family Christmas 2007. In all of these pictures there are orbs. Some are large and some are small. I would like to know what these are.

Yep, it was brand new. So why would it show up on some but not all of them? In fact they showed up on my daughter's camera also.
My other thought is that you are getting light reflected into the camera, possibly from the flash. I'm sure you are also of the view that paranormal phenomena are the least likely cause!

ahm...i'm not sure about this but i also have some kind of "orbs" when I took some pictures of my entire family while we had a get-together last Christmas but I never thought they could be suspected as "ghosts" until I saw this hub of yours. What is the best thing we can do about it? have it investigated. I'm talking a lot of pictures of anything and I put them in my personalized checks. You know, pictures of my family and stuff like that but my pictures with orbs, I think I'll keep them and who knows, one day.... anyway, thanks for bringing this up! I appreciate it!
I did not have it investegated but the strange thing is that my daughter and I took puctures at the same time and they are in both pics, so it is not the lenses of the cameras. I suspect that it is friendly spirits of passed loved ones, I just wanted some one elses opinion on whtat to think about it. My guess is that your is the same. I have taken pictures of my son doing dangerous things on his snowmobile, like jumping banks of snow and they show up in these pictures too. I actually think it is great that we have someone watching over us!!
