The ten commandments Exodus 20. How many of us said Christians follow all these commandments? How many of us lie against a co worker,family member,or a friend to save themselves? How many of us have committed adultery? Just because a guy does against his wife the person whom he commits it with also commits it single or married. Look how many are in jail for murder but claimed they were Christians or in jail for stealing or some other crime. Children, do you honor your mother and father or do you complain and sass them? If you are a child of God you're to honor them. Do we relax on the Sabbath day? The true Sabbath day is suppose to be on Saturday. Jesus told us to love our neighbor as we love ourselves, do we really do that? Growing up in the 60s,70s and 80s, was so much different than it is now. Back then you could really see the difference and tell a Christian,these days it's so hard to tell. Do we really worship God or Worldly things? We are told turn the other cheek if someone hits us, How many of us would do that? I know not many would. So are we the true Christians we claim to be, the Christians, whom accepted Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior. We are to model ourselves after Christ and I know we don't I have not seen one person who does including me. If there is one person out there who model him or herself after our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I would love to meet them. We are told not to judge our fellow man because there is only one who can judge but we are all guilty of judging people. we judge the homeless,druggies,criminals, we judge everyone and we shouldn't. A house divided can not stand. We need to forgive those who trespass against us and I tel you sometimes that's the hardest thing to do. how can a woman in an abusive relationship or who has been raped be expected to forgive her trespasser? She would really have to have God in her to be able to do that. how can someone forgive a drunk driver for killing a family member? or the drug dealer who sold the bad piece of drug that killed their kid? Or the gang who beat and killed a family member? It's so hard to be the true Christians we claim to be. All we can do is the very best we can and that's all God asks us to do.
