Time Is Your Most Valuable Commodity

Network marketers use social networks to reach potential customers and build a business. Once they have a number of people in their network, they try to sell products to them. This is the model that network marketers have been using for the past couple of years with varied success. However, time is money. This is something that you should always keep in mind.

Network marketers have to use their skills in order to set up an atmosphere for network marketing. Then, they go after leads in order to build their network. They do this using both online and offline strategies. Offline lead generation models include traditional advertising, seminars and other ways that put marketers in touch with people. This is very time consuming and can be expensive.

Online strategies include setting up networks in social media websites, search engine optimization, email marketing and online advertising. This too is time consuming and can be expensive.

What is common about both online and offline methods are that it takes a lot of time effort and skill. It is not easy to build a network of people who are interested in your product. To start with, it is hard to find that many people and you must remember that only a percentage of those people will actually sign up for your network.

All of this takes a lot of time and a financial investment as well. If you are new to network marketing, this may be difficult for you to do over a long period of time. After a few months, you will come to a point where either you keep going and building your network slowly or you give up. No matter what path you choose, you will loose money.

What many network marketers don’t realize is that there time is worth something. If they had a job, then the time they spend on working on building their network could be spent actually making money. So if you’re a traditional network marketer, you are going down the wrong path and defeating the purpose of being a business owner.

If you truly want to succeed in network marketing, than you need to indulge in Attraction Marketing as well. Attraction marketing is a form of marketing where you attract others to your business and get them to join your network rather than chasing them. If you are successful with attraction marketing, you will generate a lot more leads in a shorter amount of time.

Attraction marketing is the online form of coupon marketing. It’s like when you receive a coupon in the mail for McDonalds that gives you free fries if you purchase a burger. Fries are cheap and you can get them along with your burger for just a few cents more, but the lure of getting something free makes you feel like you’re getting more for your money. This is the model that attraction marketing uses.

If you want to generate leads using attraction marketing, you have to start by offering prospects something for free. Give them something of value and they will come to you. You can even offer them free help if they join your network. Once they are part of your network, you can build up stronger relations with them. The main thing is that you’re giving them some value. If you give them value, you will get valuable customers in return.

In conclusion, you should stop wasting your time chasing prospects. As a network marketer, you are losing money each time you go chasing prospects. Instead, if you spend time building value for your network, you will reach a larger audience much quicker and the percentage of leads you generate as compared to your impressions will be much higher. Remember, your time is valuable, don’t give it away for free.
