The Argos Catalogue has become an icon for UK shoppers over the years. We know that we can expect a new catalogue to emerge at least once or twice a year and we know that the catalogue is going to contain a variety of stuff, so much so that it's hard to imagine a single person that would not be interested in at least one product within an Argos catalog.

But what do Argos UK do with all the stock that they can't sell? It must go somewhere, but where?

Well, I've discovered where Argos offload their surplus catalogue goods at clearance prices...

As I understand it, this is a large warehouse outlet operating as a separate business venture to Argos but which focuses solely on selling Argos ex-catalogue stock at least 40% cheaper than their original Argos store price.

Because they trade separately to Argos, you cannot use your Argos store card or Argos vouchers to pay for the goods. Neither can you return faulty goods to an Argos store but you can return them to the warehouse.

So, if you're an Argos junkie and the thought of paying around half price for your Argos catalogue goods appeals to you, you now know where to go.

This is the only Argos clearance outlet that I've come across so far but if you know of another one then please let me know.
