There are some brands that are recognized around the world. Take Coca Cola and McDonalds for example. The reason these brands are so well known has little to do with quality, and more to do with a well oiled advertising machine and recognisable branding. On the other hand, there are some brands that are synonymous with style, such as Christian Dior and Chanel. These brands have earned their recognition through their quality of production, and nowhere is this more true than the Armani Suit.

The History Of The Armani Suit

The story of the Armani suit began way back in 1934 when a budding fashion designer by the name of Giorgio Armani was born in Piacenza, Italy. After ten years working as an assistant designer, Giorgio decided to branch out on his own and created the menswear label Armani, which has since become a world renowned name in the fashion industry, designing suits for the most famous of stars. As his brand grew more and more famous, his company branched out into other fashion accessories such as watches, sunglasses and even perfumes, but his roots remained in the Armani men’s suit

The purchase of an Armani suit is certainly an expensive prospect for most people, however it should be viewed as an investment rather than just a clothing purchase. The quality workmanship that goes into the creation of one of these suits means that it will last you for many years to come, as long as it is treated with the respect it deserves. If you are looking to buy an Armani suit then you must have a very good reason for doing so. If you want to make a good impression for a prospective employer, or maybe a lady friend, then you will definitely be making an impact by wearing an Armani suit for the occasion.

Armani Mens Suits - What Can You Expect To Pay?

If you serious about getting one of these suits, then you should be warned that you will be spending, at the very least, around $1,000 and more likely around the two or three thousand mark. This is a lot of money to be spending on clothing of any sort, and you want to be sure that you know exactly what you want out of a suit before making a purchase like this. Spend some time in the shops trying on a few different sizes and styles to get a feel for what is going to be the best match for you. Make sure that you are being served by someone who is a competent tailor and can ensure that the suit fits in all the right places.

Armani also has a made to measure collection available for those that must have the absolutely perfect fit. The very top of the line in the made to measure selection is the Executive style suit which boasts a tailored shoulder. The trend line is made with a modern feel and is designed to be more fitted, with a high button style and a lapel that is peaked, while the newest addition to the made to measure collection is the soft line that provides a softer, more natural and rounded shoulder.

The jackets themselves are available in a wide range of different types of materials to suit your needs, from wools and wool crepes, through to the softer and more elegant silks and linens; likewise there are many different options you can choose from for pockets and buttons.

The trousers that come with Armani suits usually come in two different types; plated or flat front. Currently the flat front trousers are considered to be in style, and with the addition of reinforced pockets and button flies, finish the stylish look afforded by your Armani suit.
