Armin van Buuren is one of the best trance deejays in the world. He is currently ranked number 3 on "The DJ List" and heonly sees DJ Tiesto from Holland and Paul van Dyk from Germany above him! Just as DJ Tiesto Armin is a Dutch deejay. He is born on 25 december 1976 in a city called Leiden in The Netherlands.

Armin has always been very musical and after he finished high school he started working in a nightclub in Leiden called Nexus. He was very talented and alo of people were surprised when he decided not to go fully for a career as dj. Instead of that Armin went to university to study law.

In that period Armin still performed as a dj at club Nexus in the weekends and in school holidays. At that nightclub Armin learned how to play long dj sets of seven and eight hors per set. After Armin met Dave Lewis, who introduced him in England and in the United States, in 1999 his deejay carreer really started accelerating.

In 2004 Armin finished his law study and he could focus fully on his deejay career and produce trance tracks and he even started his own record labl: Armada!

After that Armin perfoms on alot of big dance festivals worldwide in front of a big audience but he is also booked by smaller nightclubs forthe smaller partys.

In the summer of 2005, Armin's releases his newest track Serenity. He produced this trance track together with Jan Vayne, who is one of the best piano players from Holland.
