My Skewed Version of King Arthur's Tale

We have all read or seen different versions of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table. My personnal favorites are Excaliber and King Arthur the most recent of Hollywood productions. Nothing beats the tale of the young lad having to serve a knight and pulling the great sword Excaliber out of the stone. After combining the other warlords he wins the hearts and minds, either by cutting them or respect, and builds his kingdom. Building a great empire with his loyal knights behind him, led by the great Lancelot whom he once did battle with, he marries a beautiful woman named Guinevere. She cheats and his fathers sins come back to haunt him after his sister, with apparently his son by her, and defeat the great king. He sends his knights out to find the Holy Grail to restore the kingdom. A great search followed by a huge battle ensue and after destroying his enemies he dies. The king is taken by boat off into the sunset by "elves?, mystics?, angels?" and the story ends. The closest any of the knights come to finding the Holy Grail is Percival. After apparently answering a wrong question posed by the "fisher king" the grail disappears and he is left alone in "Grail Castle". What a great story. Or is it a story at all?

Being obsessed with "the bloodline" and trying to find facts I've come across many references to this story. Either studying Mary Magdalene, Templars, Essene's, Roman, Scot, and Brit history. No matter what religious conspiracy theory or story you will come across a interesting variety of characters. Two names that are very particular and engrossing for people like me, Percival. The Welch have a story for him Peredur, or it has been referenced as Perceval or Parzifal. No matter what the Grail story, he seems to keep popping up. A popular name, or historical figure? Saving myself something to write about later, I will spare all the accounts of his travels and his bloodline. The other name known by all is Joseph of Arimethea. We all know who he was and were he came from.

This is my account of what may have transpired if this story may be in some way real.

Having his own royal bloodline from of course his father Uther, Arthur was hidden by a mage Merlin. Coming of age Arthur has to take matters in hand, well sword in hand, and take his rightful throne back. After taking control of the throne the French monarch offered his daughter to Arthur to unite and bring peace to the countries. This daughter I believe was of the Grail bloodline. Maybe trying to bring the Merovician bloodline to gain rightful claim to the throne. Templar and other legends believe that the grail brings prosperity and peace to the land. After Guinevere cheated with Lancelot, maybe because Arthur got his sister pregnant or just lust, she runs off. Funny thing is she went to the one place that would not give away her secret and take her in. The church would definately not want the blood of Christ running around making a mockery of things they had built. Centuries of trying to destroy the bloodline and any knowledge of it they would easily hide her away. In Scotland and various parts of Europe hid and protected the Templars after the great Friday the 13th episode in France. Some places, especially Scotland, even let them keep on being Templars out in the open. As the kingdom crumbled and the king suffering great depression a search for the grail is started. Now, if they were searching for Guinevere or another of the line is anyone's guess. Since it's my version, I'll say their looking for another lineage. Enter Percival, maybe bloodline himself to go searching. Entering the Fisher King's castle he is introduced to the grail. According to another legend guardians/members of the grail have very stringant regulations put on them. The women can go out into the world if they so choose, not giving up thier secret. The men can go out into the world as well, but if anyone, even their spouse question's their origins they are suppossed to immediately leave never to return. Never answering the question. Having failed the question, roughly translated "How would you serve the grail?", or "How will the grail serve through you?" The grail and all occupants leave, the waking Percival finds himself again alone. He returns along with the others empty handed, and of course leaving Arthur and his knights with their own resources to do battle. With Guinevere soiling the bloodline and Percival not understanding his role, the grail disappears never to be seen from again.

That's just about it for this quick personnal interpretation of the grail story. If have any details or stories please share.
