Okay, before a bunch of Article King authors come down too hard on me, let me say that I have read through some of the articles on Article King and found useful and informative pieces. Hopefully, unlike a couple of my articles that have been stolen they were posted by the original authors. To the creators of the website Article King: If you've a link for us to contact you, my apologies, I have scoured your site from front to back and side to side without finding it. I've registered as an "author" there, even though I have no intention of writing for your publication, just in the hopes that I would glean some information on how to stop the plagiarism of my articles on your site. I would never write for a site that makes it that difficult to find contact information and has very little in the way of support for authors. If anyone has managed to find the contact information for this site please send me an e-mail: nawinter77@gmail.com ... I'd really appreciate it.

Article King isn't the only site I've noticed my writing being consistently ripped off on, though. Also there is Bukisa... every time I've contacted them they have taken the link off the web within a matter of hours, however. That is the kind of response you want to see from the DMCA team at a blogging site. On Hub Pages plagiarism is taken really seriously, which is one of the things I really like about writing here.

You Might Want to Turn the Volume Down Before Watching This

What I don't understand, (yeah, I realize this is turning into a full-out rant, sorry,) is *why* somebody would feel the need to steal work off of somebody's blog. I mean, seriously, you're that lazy? There's nothing more disturbing than to find your childhood memories or other personal experiences being written by another "author." It's creepy!

I'd like to hear from you guys. You Tweeter's, YouTuber's, Hubbers, Squidoo'ers and more... where has your work turned up unexpectedly? What have you been able to do about it? Please leave some comments about this, since starting to write for Hub Pages it's become a topic I've gained interest in, and I'd love to hear from ya'all about this subject!

Who would I really like to hear from though? The "&*%&%^*&!" who keep stealing people's work.... post yourself anonymously, miscreants, tell us why you feel the need to take credit for the hard work of others... (Or in my case, the not - so - hard - work...) Inquiring minds would really like to know.

Ah Nicole - happens all the time - I found a lot of happening on Flixter - though they take it down as soon as you write them.

I have over 200 articles on Ezines and in the beginning found it disturbing, almost violated to see them copied. On the other hand seeing them properly posted on good sites was the upside. The realization was, I can only control myself and I guess the good thing about the copycats is they didn't last long. Their sites fell of the map soon after so, this is to be expcted with so many people being told how easy it is to make money on the Internet.

Regards....

caitlinlea: From what I can see you're well on your way to having your writing ripped off. Just teasing! No, seriously, thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment, we haven't crossed paths yet, and I'm thrilled to take a look at some of your work. 19 hubs in two months, you're really throwing yourself right into Hub Pages! Keep smiling:) Truth will always out. Did they not include your bio or resource box, link etc?

Hey, thanks, Tigermadstanley. No, of course not! The put the article up like they wrote it themselves. If they had I wouldn't be *as mad* as I am. (Though I'd still be kinda pissed.) Thanks for taking the time to read / comment, I appreciate your encouragement.

Has anything come about with this Nicole?

Good luck on getting *anything* taken care of! It is strange that someone would just steal someone else's reality in a bid for clicks..

No... nothing has come of it, lxxy. It's sad and yeah, like you said, it's super-weird! Thanks for taking the time to stop by and comment, as always I love hearing from you, lxxy!

Hi, Nicole, this is really weird! I have just read your hub on fairies and said about being annoyed about someone stealing my work! It is called Paranormal and I have been having many arguments with them. They apologised about fifty times and then tried being my friend on facebook!!!! I had just insulted them again when I realised that they had linked me at last and made a public apology. So check it out. The comments page is linked through the top right hand corner. You will see my insults! thanks for this hub. I will check out these others. cheers Nell
