If you want to build a successfu web site you need to understand how to write articles. A web is a linked group of articles on a topic that people will actively seek out for the information presented. You need to know the right size article to write, the number of articles to link together that will give information in the amount seekers want. You will also want to know what kind of articles will promote related adsense ads to post to all of you interlinked articles correctly. Ok lets get started.

What you need to know

The first and most important step in writing is to pick a topic that fits into a nitch. A nich is something a number of people are interested in finding information on. If you do a search on a search engine like Goggle you can find out how many people are searching for the topic you are searching for. What you want is a topic that has about fifty thousand similar sites or less so that the topic isn't saturated and yet you still are competing with what people are searching for.

Each article you intend to link into a web site should be with 375 to 450 words in length. Less than that and not enough information will be given and more than that is probably to much. So if you start writing and find that you have written more than 450 words consider splitting the one article into two articles.

The first article for a web site should be the last one written. As crazy as this sounds you should consider that the first page in the general synopsis of your site. It will cover very generally the topics of your supporting pages. The idea is to catch the attention of the reader and to get them to read your other articles.

The best web sites will have 10 or 12 linked articles, including the index page. This will be plenty to give good information and not to many to bore a reader. If you think you have more information to present create a second related web site.

If you put good information on a nich topic, have the right size pages (articles), and the correct number of pages you will have a successful website. It will be a site you can promote (drive traffic to) and post adds on that your readers will click on (which you get paid for).

More articles to come

I will be writing more articles on how to write articles and how they differ from blogs, blurbs, and mini articles.
