Wow !! It is just getting to be beautiful outside with all the changing colors of the trees and plants and the cool of the seasons air upon us. Children are all off to school again and football stadiums are roaring.

The harvest of what was planted in the spring is taking place, some have a large bounty and some not, depending on how the garden was planted and the weather cooperated, and how it was cultivated.

Okay, this is all pretty nice and all but what does all this have to do with your home business? EVERYTHING !!

Your home business must have it's seasons to survive too. Not so much the winter is winter and fall is fall, but it all depends on the planning of your business, it is more like the preparations taken to go into the slow times vs. the busy times.

Let's think about this a bit..

It doesn't really matter whether it is spring outside or not but let's say that you are just starting a new home business, this is your spring, okay?

You go about your business planning, setting up your office, studying, and creating. You are planting the seeds of your business. Think of your planning and studying and creating as fertilizer in the ground. The very foundation of your business is being prepared.

Now into this fertile soil goes your seeds. Content writing, sharing, social marketing, advertising. Your business depends on what you do now because the harsh suns of the summer are coming and you need to be ready.

We all love the summer season. The air is warm and it allows us to be outside more and enjoy the fresh air.

It is also a very important time to your business. Like the garden you must continue to water and nurture all that you have done to this point. The push is really on at this time of season for your home business because if particular attention isn't given, it could die.

This also means that even though it is summer outside and you have this home business that you can take the time off to be with family. You must remember you have a business and it needs you....

This is my most favorite season of all. This is the time to reap your harvest pull in your bounty, rejoice in your hard work and take care of all your new prospects or business partners that sprung up.

The fall of your home business is also a time to take note in what you did or didn't do to have this harvest. Write these ideas down, learn from the errors and grow on your successes. It is also a time to decide what it is you are planning to do for the winter.

Nothing better than curling up in front of a warm fire with a good book. Remember those errors you may have made, find a book or an educational plan that will help you plan your next move. You know spring is just around that corner and winter is the time for the planning of spring.

And the cycle continues.

Wash, rinse, repeat, wash, rinse, repeat.......

Regardless of your season, you must continually prepare for the changes.  Know when to begin to stock up and know when to let it all go and rejoice in your successes. 

Business should be fun and thinking of it in turns of the changes of seasons will keep you on track and keep it more visual for you.
