Where are we gonna eat tonight? In my book and others thats a very big and somtimes hard question to answer.

Here I'm gonna list some of my favorite restraunts that I have actually tried to help you decided on where to eat tonight(or tomorrow).

Cheddars - A very popular restaurant, I suppose its due to the great food and comfortable dining atmosphere, You most likely going to have a wait but for the quality of the food and the awesome prices it's very much worth it.

Urban burrito - Has that true asheville unique taste. They have a variety of items such as burritos, nachos,tacos ,salads and quesadillas. I would have to say my favorite item is the jerk chicken burrito, it's packed with flavor and it gets u you very full for under 7 bucks. They also have a Salsa bar with a varety bof salsa's including Pineapple, and Pico di giyo. They also have Cliantro, and Limes if you want to add a touch to your food.

Neo burrito - Is basically the same as Urban burrito except it is an all Green restaurant, Recycled cups, silverware, straws, napkins, ETC...They even recycle all the trash!!! Neo burrito Sells plants for a dollar to promote green awareness. They also grow their own herbs. Very yummy food!

Mellow Mushroom - Most definitely has that "Asheville" Vibe When you walk in you say wow. A very cool, friendly,"different" atmosphere, with psychedelic art and furnishings. Pizza is sooo good, I could eat a whole one myself. (Don't worry I haven't tried.) If you love Pizza and Beer (They have a variety of other items too.) and You wan to try a new Dining experience I recommend Mellow Mushroom.

Lou's Grub Shack - I had been to this unique diner once when they first opened and had their fried chicken I really liked it, But I had heard some negative things about Lou's after that, Last week me and My fiance wanted something but we wanted to stay close to home so we went back, I was a little nervous about trying anything but I was just standing there looking at the menu like and idiot so I just ordered the Chicken Gyro, and Fries, Once I sat down I felt so dumb why would I order a Gyro at a diner place that I had heard was horrible? When the food got there it looked good, but I was so afraid to eat it, but I was hungry so I picked it up anyways and when I took the first bite I was thinking everyone who said this place was bad are crazy, The Gyro was so delicious, and I absolutely loved the fries, My boyfriend had tried the cajon wings and The bacon cheese burger, I tried a bite of the burger and It was very tasty, I did not care for the wings that much, but my fiance loved them. We went back the other night and ordered some wings I do have to say the honey barbecue wings are so AWESOME!!! Sorry for the long story the point I was getting to was... Try Lou's It's Tasty.

Mikado - If your looking for a good dinner without a long wait this place is the place to go. They have the early bird special where you get two adult meals for a deal. Before 6pm I believe. Me and My friend just ate there the other night and we got the early bird steak and shrimp, Which comes with soup and a salad, we ordered water and our check was $23. something, not bad for the good food and having your food cooked in front of you on a hibachi grill, and you will have plenty of left overs to take home (Their left overs are really yummy!!!). We have several Japanese Steak houses here in Asheville but I do have to say Mikado is one of my favorites.

If your looking for good Barbecue and a show the fiddlin pig is the place to go! Great food and friendly service. 5.00 Daily lunch specials, Mon-Friday, Include One main dish one side and a drink. Monday through Saturday they have live bluegrass, its very fun to watch and listen to. Best to make reservations so you don't have to wait in line a long time...But if you do wait its very much worth the wait. My favorites are the sweet tea, Ribs and Fried Okra.

Papa's and Beer - One of my top five favorites, This Mexican restaurant is probably the best Mexican restaurant I have been to. (And trust me I have been to ALOT.) The food is delicious, the service is friendly and very good, they keep your drinks filled and once you are seated you are served until you leave. I love the Fried Ice Cream, And Fajitas, and they have a salsa bar with very yummy salsas but be careful when it says hot salsa they really mean HOT!!! Along with your Chips they bring some sort of bean dip I'm not sure what it is but I do know it's tasty. Papa's and Beer has Authentic food and a very nice dining atmosphere. And when its your birthday, they go all out with singing and they give you a free fried ice cream. There is usually a wait, but I promise you that it is very very much worth it!!!
