When my wish is to lift my spirits I travel to Lyon, France--But this is a virtual journay, I stay in Asheville and dine at Bouchon…but the secret and the true miracle is Michel Baudouin has picked-up a French Bistro from Lyon and has hidden it away in; Asheville North Carolina.
Bouchon, French for cork, is also an expression for a type of bistro in the Lyon area of France. At Bouchon you’ll soon meet the amazing chef/owner Michel Baudouin, and Michel was born in Lyon of course.
The atmosphere at Bouchon is cozy casual and cultured. You heart and will soon soar as you peek at his menu and before long your pallet will reside in the heavens… Michel has said the menu is all about "French comfort food."
Bouchon, sounds like poetry
Bouchon offers a full bar and a good selection of lighter offerings. It is a perfect place to mingle and munch and of course, sip a glass of good wine or imported beer.
Bouchon Bouchon, I am calling you, sweet Bouchon. --My friend, have you been dreaming of French Cuisine. If you have, your dreams will soon come true because you’ll be in the company of the master; Michel. AND all that he touches… is cuisine fit for Gods.

Hi, If there is anyone out there that still likes great home cooking like you remember your grandmother making" I found this great little off the beaten path country restaurant with no smoking and sweet servers, they greet you like they have known you there whole life. The food is wonderful and you get lots of it for the price". If you are going 40 west out of asheville look for the first canton exit I think it is exit 33 not sure, its the exit after the weight station, stop sign take left at the red light take a right travel maybe between 1-2 miles on 1923 look for it on your left , The name of it is Sweet Teas Country Kitchen. Anyway hope you enjoy it as much as I did. PS""" They have a smilely flag, peace flag and a earth flag you can't miss them.
