Blepharoplasty is a way to get your upper and the lower eyelid corrected so as you will get a fresh rejuvenated look. Most of the people of the Asian origin also want to go for the eyelid surgery or the Blepharoplasty as they have very different constitution of the eyelids as compared to the Occidental eyelids.

This is very critical as the Asian Blepharoplasty is not like the normal Eyelid surgery. The normal eyelid surgery is subtractive as in only the excess fat is removed and the excess muscle is also removed whereas in the case of the Asian Blepharoplasty the surgical procedure is additive as you will have a new crease where non exists

Always talk to the doctor about your expectation before taking a decision and also ask the doctor to give you some idea about how you will look and ask for the before and after pictures of the eyelid surgery. Double eyelid surgery is what really we are talking about and the Asian Blepharoplasty is actually a misnomer which is very commonly used.  

In most cases the Asian Blepharoplasty also called the double eyelid surgery will involve only the upper eyelid. Bui in some cases you may require the lower eyelid surgery also. This is required if you have excess fat under your eyes.
