The Lion and The Balances

Libra - Leo -

Libra is an Air sign and a Cardinal, action-oriented one. Leo is a Fire sign and Fixed. Libra loves the logic of the law. Hoping the world can be ordered, suddenly, in walks Leo. Leo declares by just showing up that boisterous confidence and liberating pride can really determine how the world goes. Libra can be overwhelmed by Leo, but also impressed. Libra, liking action watches the Cat and says, “I like movement and action. This is promising. And how good looking!” Then the Scales start shaking when they observe the Cat’s stubbornness. It does not move upon slight suggestion, or loud insistence. It just stays there. Happy to be in the pose it struck.

Leo likes the cut of Libra. Libra can make a point, declare itself and reasonably defend its position. It seems they can talk. They can relate. The stream of communication can flow and they don’t break down or blow up. A fight is possible, but, because Libra tries to be noble, it allows for Leo’s sense of nobility. The question of this relationship will depend upon the individual charts. Will they really like each other, and are they compellingly attracted to one another? Moon sign, rising sign, how their horoscopes play out will determine how magnetically attracted they are to each other. The reason this is important is because this relationship will have to bear much communication. However the communication can be productive, though strenuous.

Positive Postulate:

Leo and Libra can come to a great meeting of the minds. Sure, compromise and new attitudes will have to be reached. But these two handsome humans can make something new and strong together – a union, coupling, mating or company. Libra will have to lose its sense of control, but that might be good for them. Leo will have to stop resisting control and advice, and that could be good for Leo. Once they do really let the free flow of new thought through, they could make a new thing.

Romance Recommendation:

Leo and Libra can enjoy the classy and the formal and its lustre. The Leo can burn and exclaim with magnificent joy. Libra can enjoy a beautiful balanced coming together. Observing Leonine confidence, the Scales can observe fire and take notes on what wild abandon might be all about.

Conflict Quotient:

In conflict or just plain communication, the Libra will always be trying to get Leo’s attention. Depending upon the mood of the Cat, the Scales might meet with diffidence, indifference, arrogance or a royal ear, leaning closely in to hear the voice of the supplicant. Resolution is always possible, it’s just a matter of timing and diplomacy and framing the argument. Leo’s attention being gained, and Libra’s rationale being heard, the two can have the minutes taken and move on.

Peace Parlay:

Life in the end is repetitive and mundane, and so is Romance itself. This factor asks the question: "Can we be bored together over the long term?" Libra can be bored easily. Their cardinality begs for action. When they are not in action, they tend to go to “stop”. Leo might look over, in its own momentary complacency, and wonder what has gotten into Libra. Then when they both get to moving again, things would be OK.

Keep Up The Interest Graph:

Leo feeling generous and wanting to make a strong impression can go out of its way grandly and do something that will really grab the Scales and shake them to their foundation. Because they are thinking about keeping up the interest - its right there in their notes - Libra would come up with the new and the fresh. Libra and Leo would make this project a continual challenge and do well at it.

Seven Year Itchiness:

There are some signs that by their nature are more stable in their love interests and family concerns as time goes on. Others are not. The 7 year itch can trip up any union. Libra does not see itself in this way, but they could be attracted to something really compelling. Leo too, wanting to be reinforced at most every level could look for a new thing. Each should be aware of the potential in the other and find comfort in and newness in each other.
