David is perhaps one the most foremost pioneers in the raw food movement. He is the son of two doctors and during his major Rahu period (1988-2006), he decided to become vegetarian. He had some persistent health problems that were alleviated by the diet change and he was even more motivated because he had witnessed his own father suffer a major heart attack. He is also a drummer in the Healing Waters Band and, actually thought he wouldn't be able to perform after a major back problem in his mid twenties (this may have been due to a tendency for accidents due to the natal Sun-Mars conjunction). But he became a raw vegan, and he believes that restored his health. I mentioned that these changes occured during his Rahu period and it is exactly during this period that we are called upon to search out and develop our evolutionary potential. He has several degrees: engineering and a juris law, and has authored several books, one of which is Naked Chocolate (co-authored with Shazzie of G.B.) He is also the owner and CEO of Sunfood Nutrition which is a major supplier of nutritional supplements in the world. David spends a great deal of his time travelling and promoting the raw food diet. His Moon and Ascendant are both in Libra, and he has his natal Moon in his ascendant, thus his popularity with the public.
