"The sun's 77% rate of spotlessness in 2009 confirms the ongoing minimum as a century class event".  Article at http://www.spaceweather.com

One of my first HUBS was regarding the alignment of Mars and the Sun and the marked increased in Sun spots. In the article, and the original article written back in July 2008, which can be viewed at my website www.kerrytheory.info shows that the large solar activity should not begin until December 10, 2009.

Although the predictions from NOAA/NASA have changed many times, their predictions will come to pass but not until December 10, 2009 when the high intensity of solar flares begin.

The chart below shows NOAA/NASA's prediction; the solid red line represent the highest estimates, the red dashed line the lowest estimates showing the Cycle 24 sunspots beginning in April 2009 and according to NOAA some there should have been some large solar flares by August 2009.  It hasn’t worked out.  However, the Royal Observatory of Belgium predictions also do not show what will be beginning in December 2009 either?

So far astrology has been more accurate that the scientific field; can you imagine if they were to “combine or share the information” --- both fields of study together!

Hi John, where do I find Rhodes Fairbridge's solar model and his work? I would very much like to take a look. Thank you for the information.
