Brutally raped and murdered, Brittany Phillips will never get the chance to experience her mother's warm embrace again. While away at school, Brittany and her mother, Margaret Zingman, regularly talked, but the phone calls would end the night a police officer knocked on Margaret Zingman's door, to inform her that her daughter had been raped and murdered.

Unknown NY Nightclub Rapist

Be weary if you plan on partying at the New York nightclub known as "The Box." On Sept. 30 and then again on Oct. 27, an unknown rapist grabbed two women as they waited outside the club. One victim claims the suspect gave her a mysterious liquid to drink just before she was raped and sodomized. Cops have a new sketch with hopes that someone will be able to name the suspect.

Fauquier County, Va. detectives are searching for a man they believe may have raped an 18-year-old girl on August 18, 2007. Police say the key clue in the case is a few frames of video taken at a convenience store shortly before the attack.

Eagle Rock Rapist

The LAPD is hunting high and low for the rapist who attacked a woman while she waited for the bus in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Eagle Rock. Despite the harrowing incident, the 23-year-old victim was able to tell police some telling clues about the vehicle the rapist was driving.

Michael "Mike, Mickey" Akerly

Police in Erie County, Pa. are searching for Michael Akerly -- a man who allegedly lured a woman he met at a bar to his house and then raped her. According to police, Akerly posed as a good Samaritan, offering the woman his house telephone to call a cab. But after she agreed, cops say Akerly proved his intentions were anything but good.
