This hub is a review of the Atomic Mail Sender, a software intended for sending mass mailings to your list. I must however caution that you should not, under any circumstance, spam people. As a reference, Wikipedia defines spam as "to send unsolicited bulk messages indiscriminately".

You should only email people that volunteered their email addresses and these were not obtained in some obscure fashion, with email extraction software or other such scripts.

Also, make sure that you do not email you list too frequently, and that the emails you are sending out relate to your list in one form or another.

You should also make sure that you make it easy for people on your list to unsubscribe if they so wish.

As far as I am concerned, sending emails to the members of a forum, or to people that leave ads on a classified site (if you are the owner of such sites), are two valid forms of email marketing.

The software that I have chosen to send out mass mailings is the Atomic Mail Sender.  The script runs on your computer, and lets you easily send out emails to an unlimited number of people.  The script cost an affordable $88 or 69.85 Euros, with the option of testing the free version before taking the leap and buying the full featured script.

With the Atomic Mail Sender you can send emails using the software´s internal SMTP server, or you can use the server of your hosting provider.  It is not  how ever recommended you the software´s internal server, since many service providers block emails sent in this fashion since these emails are ver often associated with spam.

After you have downloaded and set up the Atomic Mail Sender, the software is very easy to use.  Its almost like using a text editor.  You can compose your email with the links and images, or you can just "cut and paste" the html code for that mailing.

The next step is picking the recipients of your email.  You can pick from one of your existing lists, or upload a new list in Excel, Access, DBF, Word, .txt or .lst formats.  You can also just "cut and paste" the email addresses.  You final step is just pressing the send button.

If this all sound very easy its because it really is!
