Ann Sieg, of Renegade Network Marketer fame is going to reveal in her new ebook: The Attraction Marketer’s Manifesto how to become an expert in a weekend.

There are two roads to becoming an expert.

How does one become an expert in a weekend? I don’t know what Ann Sieg is going to say on the subject but I have my own ideas which I will explain further on. You may be able to position yourself as a leader but you will actually need to do something long term as well.

How does one become an expert over time? Personal Development. Business Development

• Commit to One Hour a Day
• Commit to Reading

You are where you are right now based on what you now know. In order to move beyond your financial status at this time require you to learn something new. Personal development is the order of the day.

One of my favorite personal development tips is:

“Leaders are Readers and Readers are Leaders”

In every industry the top performers have made a commitment to continuous professional and personal development. Top performers like An Sieg.They are never done; they are “works in progress” in their eyes. They never become complacent. They are never satisfied. There is always more to know and understand. This one quality alone can make all the difference.

One hour per day in your chosen field will place you at the top within 3 years. Within 5 years you would be the national authority.

Read, Read, Read everything about your field. Build a library of resources. Don’t cheap out on your education. People spend 95% of their income on their bodies and only 5% on their brains. A body is limited to 24 hours a day. Your brain can learn to leverage your time investment.

I've heard it said that if you make a decision today to invest 3% of your annual income back into yourself for your own personal and professional development you most likely would never worry about money again.

If you read one hour a day, that would extrapolate to reading one book per week which equals 50 books per year. In 10 years you would have read 500 books.

Reading one book a month would place you in the top 1% of income earners. Simply be reading a chapter a day or 10-15 pages a day you could easily read a book a month. Focusing your reading on your area of interest would indeed make you an expert.

Ask for book recommendations from successful people in your area of interest. If marketing online is of interest to you, you will want to learn attraction marketing. Set the habit of reading one hour every morning before work. I’ve tried reading at night and I typically fall asleep. Where to start? My recommendation would be The Renegade Network Marketer followed by The Attraction Marketer's Manifesto if you want to be successful online.

Reading is the key to your personal development. Reading and the taking action on what you have read. Underline and make notes on important ideas; then implement what you have learned immediately.

Now, how do you become an expert in a weekend? Read the Chapter The Power of the Expert beginning on page 32 of The Attraction Marketer’s Manifesto for Ann Sieg's point of view. This what I had to say prior to the launch and what I recommend.

First you already know more than you think you do. When I first joined Renegade University Mike Klingler gave us an exercise to do 2 weeks in. He asked us to write down everything we had learned so far. When I started I didn’t even know what a keyword was! I wrote down 30 things that I had learned! We tend to focus on what we don’t know instead of what we do know.

I bet if you have been online for any length of time you know way more than the average person on the street. Sometimes I feel like I’m living on another planet. People are so impressed when I explain what affiliate marketing is using Amazon as an example.

Secondly you don’t need to know it all you just need to be a guide for people. You just need to know where to go to get the answers. The self-guided program that I teach allows people to take on their role as a guide a.s.a.p. It could be in a weekend. It depends entirely on their confidence level.

My advice to you while you are waiting for the launch of Ann Sieg's The Attraction Marketer’s Manifesto is not to wait. Do something now. Position yourself now. Align yourself with a team. Flying solo online is very difficult.
