Aura Color Meanings
78In this hub we'll look at aura color meanings and how to understand them. In the previous hub I did titled How to See an Aura I talked about how we can see our own aura and the aura around other people and objects using a simple technique.
But what do aura color meanings tell us about the colors, shades and halos of light that we see around the aura? This is a short guide to aura color meanings. Though not definitive, it does provide some guidelines about the spiritual significance behind certain colors.
Meaning of Main Aura Colors
Green
Green is a color of healing. Many healers associate this color with the heart-chakra which produces the natural flow of light-green healing light. Green also represents nature, it restores and heals, returning one to his or her natural state of being.
Yellow
Yellow is a color of happiness. Aura color meanings are sometimes difficult to decode, but yellow is one of the easier ones to grasp. The color yellow cheers us up, it embodies joy and a welcoming smile that embraces all it touches. Yellow auras can often be perceived around people who are friendly, or those who are spiritually attuned to a higher level of peace and consciousness.
Indigo
Indigo symbolises intelligence and spiritual aptitude. Those with an indigo aura have deep knowledge of spiritual truths and insights. As far as aura color meanings go, an indigo aura is one of the most well-researched aura colors, with many authors having written books about Indigo Children and Indigo Consciousness.
Blue
The aura color meanings of blue is that of peace. Inner peace and tranquil calmness can often be felt around a person with a strong blue aura. These people allow others around them to feel calm and free of anger or other negative emotions. Blue is also a strong healing color.
Red
Red is seldom seen as an entire aura color, instead it appears in small areas of the aura, or might occupy the entire aura when a person is full of range and anger. Red can also symbolise attachment and not willing to let go of a specific person or situation. In many spiritual respects, red is associated with a lower less evolved level of consciousness. However variations of red such as pink and maroon can hold different aura color meanings altogether such as romance or love.
The Bottom Line ...
The bottom line is that there is no 100% distinct aura color meanings guide out there, but we can all feel the auras around other people to some extent... Each one of us has the power to use their intuition to figure out the true meaning of the aura color a specific person is projecting at that time. Your intuition is therefore the best and most accurate guide available for discerning aura color meanings.
Don't Forget - Spiritual Sight
In the last Hub I posted I talked about a new course at SpiritualBlog.com called Open Your Spiritual Sight. The course teaches in depth how to see auras around other people... how to practice image streaming to develop clear-seeing with past-life regression and lot's more. It comes with a DVD-format movie, a brain-wave based MP3 that aids in astral travel, aura perception and much more. This is a highly recommended course and is essential for all spiritual and personal development pursuits.
Thanks for reading this Hub on aura color meanings. :)
Peace and Merry Xmas!
