STEP ONE: What is your Life Color?

Click the link to take the test to discover your "Life Color". Auras are composed of many different colors that may change from time to time depending on your mood or environment. But the band of colors closest to your body, referred to by some as your Life Color, is fixed in place. It does not fluctuate, and because it is closest to you, it reveals the most about your personality and life purpose. Try to answer the questions as honestly as possible; respond with how you truly do think and feel, not how you want to feel. At the end, the category with the highest number of "yes" answers will be your Life Color. Most people will score a markedly higher number in one particular category. Take note, however, if you score high in two different categories. As this Hub progresses, we will be getting into the Combination Colors, and what it means if you scored as such.

There are three categories of Life Colors: PHYSICAL LIFE COLORS (Red, Orange, Magenta, Yellow) process information through their physical bodies, through touch. MENTAL LIFE COLORS (Logical Tan, Abstract Tan, Sensitive Tan, Environmental Tan, Green) are the intellectuals who progress through life by gathering information and then analyzing it. EMOTIONAL LIFE COLORS (Blue, Violet, Indigo, Lavender, Crystal) process life through their feelings, emotions and intuition.

If someone scores highest on two Life Colors that are in the same aura family (physical, mental or emotional) -- for example, a Blue/Violet or Red/Orange -- this person may be living the equivalent to two lifetimes in one. These lifetimes may be running concurrently, if the person feels she has a lot to learn and a great deal to accomplish before she passes into her next life, or they may run consecutively. For example, at a pivotal moment in her life, this person may actually be switching lifetimes without switchin physical bodies, and her personality will change accordingly.

Combination Colors, on the other hand, are when someone scores highest on two Life Colors that may or may not be in the same aura family -- for example, a Yellow/Green or Blue/Yellow. In that case, the colors either come together in her personality to work in harmony, or operate in conflict.

PHYSICAL LIFE COLOR: RED

Reds are physical, sexual beings who live in the here-and-now with strength and confidence. They are realists who must be able to see, taste, touch, smell and hear the world around them. They are not philosophers nor abstract thinkers. A wall is just a wall, no further discussion necessary. Reds need to see tangible proof in order to believe that something exists. Fantasy is not for them.

Reds are not big believers in spirituality. If a Red does decide to go to church, it is not because he believes in or understands the concept of God, but because he enjoys the physical sensation of being around people, dancing, singing, arranging the pews, building churches, etc. Reds feel most alive when strength and stamina is needed. They love challenges, and would rather do physical manual labor than sit around and contemplate ideas or emotions. Reds are extremely blunt with their interactions, and brutally honest. When a Red is in power (fulfilling his life's goal) he is slow to anger and gets over things quickly. A Red in power will find proper outlets through which to channel his anger, be it sports, exercise or physical therapy. When hurt, Reds respond like wounded animals, withdrawing emotionally and lashing out physically. Out of power, Reds have violent tempers and can become physically violent, punching walls, throwing objects, starting fights, or having intense sexual encounters. Reds work well under pressure or in the midst of a physical crisis such as an earthquake or flood. Because of their animalistic instinct for survival, Reds raw courage and inner reservoirs of strength can help others through natural disasters.

RELATIONSHIPS Reds enjoy physical companionship, but it is difficult for them to relate to their partners on an emotional or mental level. Reds will always be reliable and hard-working providers, but they don't always know how to be available on other levels. They are private people who don't offer their feelings easily and are not very introspective. It takes an extremely strong, independent person to be able to handle the fiery Red, someone who can withstand his emotional walls and his violent temper. Some people enjoy the challenge a Red brings to their life, though most compare living with Reds to running with the bulls.

SEX Because they operate primarily through physical sensation, Reds cannot go without sex. They consider it a necessity, one of the joys of being in a physical body. Sex is life's greatest pleasure. Reds love to taste, touch and smell. However, sex with a Red is usually about animalistic lust, passion and physicality rather than love and compassion. Reds are extreme hedonists, and will not belong to any organization that considers sex a taboo.

RED PARENTS Although they are providers, Red parents are not usually emotionally available to their children because they are uncomfortable with their own emotions. It is hard for them to share tender, emotional moments. Instead, Reds bond with their kids by playing catch or doing yard work together. Children tend to be intimidated by Red parents, responding with either respect or fear, or feeling rejected and unloved. Reds are very protective and concerned about their children, they just have a hard time communicating this emotion.

MONEY Reds care little for wealth. All they need is to make sure their basic needs are met--house, job, food, clothes. They do appreciate nice things, but refuse to be ruled by material possessions.

SUCCESS Reds measure success in terms of completion. Success to them is found in having the strength to manipulate their physical environment, such as through building a house.

OCCUPATIONS Reds can commonly be found in the following trades: firefighter, rescue worker, police, military, athlete, mechanic, manual laborer, construction, bodyguard, truck driver, boxer, heavy equipment operator, farmer.

HEALTH Health problems for the Red will usually only be work-related, such as a strained back from doing too much heavy lifting, or a cut from a power saw. In order to stay healthy, Reds need to learn when enough is enough, and not to push themselves too far.
