Australia Day Sydney Harbour Cruise
53Australia Day, lets celebrate!
What is the ultimate Australia Day experience? Nothing beats getting out on the harbor. It’s actually a tradition that began back in 1836 with the first Anniversary Regatta which proudly holds the title of the oldest continuous sailing regatta in the world.
Then there is the Australia Day Parade which attracts hundreds of vessels of all shapes and sizes, brilliantly decorated, circling the Harbour from east to west. Get on board your own Sydney Harbour cruise and enjoy the spectacle in your own boat. Better yet get on board a Tall Ship and don't just watch the parade, be part of it! But the day shouldn’t end there, check out some friendly Sydney accommodation and let someone else clean up in the morning.
Perhaps though your idea of the perfect Australia day involves the famous backyard barbie. You can get well into the theme with some of the fantastic Australia Day party supplies that are available. I strongly recommend using anything and everything that shows a picture of our great Australian flag on it. There are also many other Australia Day products available for purchase to help you celebrate our nations birthday. I personally like decking out head to toe with the right cap, T-shirt, shorts, and socks.
Whatever you’re planning, go ahead and have a good one. Aussie, Aussie, Aussie……..!!!
