An Eco-Christmas
Winter - a time for Christmas? Sounds familiar? Then what about Christmas in July – the Australian winter? Although a reasonably common marketing ploy, Christmas in July is an opportunity for Australians to experience the traditions of Christmas in the northern hemisphere. An opportunity to spend time indoors, with warm foods, huddled around a fireplace. After all, a typical Australian Christmas is a summer affair, centred on the beach during one of the hottest periods of the year.
An opportunity to experience a winter Christmas in Australia, surrounded by ecologically sensitive surroundings exists at, EcoPoint Resorts.
EcoPoint Murramarang Resort on the New South Wales south coast and EcoPoint Myall Shores Resort on the New South Wales, Mid-North Coast offer warm, cosy environments set in spectacular natural surrounds ideal for couples, families and friends.
A Christmas feast of fine foods crafted from fresh local produce is a festive addition to the EcoPoint Resorts experience of world-class accommodation options, extensive eco facilities and a host of activities for everyone to enjoy.

Meant to add some more! I have enjoyed some wonderful "Christmases in July" at the Ibis Resort in Leura, Blue Mountains! Just magic!
I enjoyed reading your page about the alternative Christmases in Australia. I was at the Bondi Beach Christmas party in Sydney this past Christmas and it was a surreal being in the sunshine! Though I had a blast, some of the places you describe sound a little more low-key and relaxing. :)
