I love to find authentic handbags on e-bay.Reputable sellers will be only too happy to answer questions you might have about a product, be it more detailed photos, proof of provenance, or more information about the condition and quality of the item. Any reluctance to provide this information should set alarm bells ringing in buyers' minds.
Does anyone know if you can call the designer directly to see if the bag you just bought is real or fake, by giving them the serial number stiched inside the bag? I think I may have just bought a fake Chanel??
Oh ladies! I'm a huge fan of Chanel handbags, but the truth of the matter is, Chanel is a status symbol! It's not, or shouldn't be, about whether the bag is fake or not. If you have a great faux Chanel bag, no one will notice, and often times, even if you have a horrible fake, no one will care. It's not like people on the street are going to come up, compliment you on your purse and then ask to see the serial number. Since most of the free world can't afford a real Chanel bag, you should appreciate the people that make it possible to act like you do own one. People can't even afford to stay in their homes these days, much less a $2000 handbag.
To say Chanel is overpriced is not true. You have to account for all the marketing Research & development etc. etc.
If you are going to reduce it to cost of materials + fair markup = fair price?

I ordered a handbag from MIMI AND PORTER and i must say i am completely dissatisfied with them. They are totally rubbish and send roadside stuff. I paid $365 for a bag but it is not worth $10 also. I was ripped off by them. They sell all pirated and used stuff. Never trust them.
It is a complete waste of money. They say they are in Australia and Paris but they deal from China. Never buy from them, they are scammers. They sell Credit card statement shows Stalk Distribution, which is Canada based company and deals in Auto parts. Again a fraud....how can we trust them.
You have to fight for your money. When you call them they assure you to return the money but, they will never return the charges on your credit card. I also have my friends who have been charged twice on their card by them.
Beware of MIMI AND PORTER....Never order anything from them !!!
