Fun game! Here is a walkthrough for how to finish it. There are spoilers but I tried to keep them really light. More of a go here, go there guide without saying what actually happened or ruining exploring the areas for you

You can find a bigger Aveyond 3 walkthrough online somewhere if you need more information. I'll try not to say where all the sidequests, best equipment or even the lord of twilight goodie caves locations are. Those special bonus secrets are things you can yourself during the game! I wish a lot of the walkthrough writers would leave more for players to find and so that's what I did. I think I saw some Aveyond 3 area maps by timponi if you are stuck and really want to be spoiled.

• Meet with the people on the manor
  The exits might be hard to see. Top floor has some on the bottom wall
  

• Work your way through the sewer dungeon
  You can't open the rusty door yet
• Go back to where you met the hooded people
  

• Keep going north. Kill stuff so you get exp
• Go west in the mountains.
  North once you're in the cave
• Go north east. No point exploring yet
  You go there later in this game walkthrough
  

• Go to the school and talk to the headmaster
• Solve the puzzle in the harpsbren manor.
  Return to the professor gray with the item after
• Rent an apartment in the south west side of Thais.
  Spend the night in Mel's bed to continue Aveyond 3

• Leave the town by going south east.
  You can explore it a second time later in the walkthrough
  
• Galadad and Teijal will have to fight your first boss in Aveyond 3. It's a tricky battle. If you have any problems use Teijal's skills

• Learn about your next Aveyond mission
• The dress maker is in the main marketplace. She has the middle shop in between the weapon and armor
• Explore the castle until you find special event people
• Investigate the ruins west of town, Don't follow the brightwood forest road all the way there. The way to the ruins is an unmarked path. The exit is on the very west side of the map
• Talk to someone and look for a sparkling item in the ruins
• Go back to Thais and visit the church
  

• Wander outside town again until you find the skeleton cave
• Explore the buildings in Ghedahre. Someone knows the wyrm forest password but you'll nee to get them a coffin first
• You can do quests in town like the tavern soul if you want
  I don't think you can come back here until Aveyond 3 part 2
  

• Have mel go back to her bed
• Eventually you can leave town
  These are some very long Aveyond 3 scenes
• Go north in brightwood forest then east next map
• Keep going northeast on the mountain
  The cave on the high mountainside is your destination
  

• Do the matching items quest so you can learn to climb
• Exit town in the southeast cave
  Head east from here to reach Naylith
• Buy dynamite in Gheledon
• Go back and use the crack to blow it up
  

• This is the Aveyond 3 starting town. Go back there
• Survive one round in the fight
  You can't kill them. Just stay alive somehow
• Keep going up until you're at the top of the tower

• You can do a bunch of sidequests now if you explore
  
• Go to the cave to the far west of Thais in the forest. You might have found it before trying to look for the ruins
• Complete the quest and reach the next area

• Head west to get to the Aveyond 3 town
• Take the test so you can learn how to ice skate
• Buy a canoe so that you can get the bomber egg in the plains. Take it back to the farm. This opens the boarded up places on maps
• Head back to the plains. You can do a sidequest in witchwood now to get another egg. It is on the south side of the map through the mire woods
  

• Go back to the ice forest you went through quickly earlier
• Explore the area if you want. You can find Aveyond (town), ice caves, and a gemstone for excalibur here
• There is a castle on the mid west of the map
  Go in and meet the sleeping beauty
  

• Talk to Rita the gossip columnist a couple times
• Find a woman in the Witchwood town
• Buy eye drops there then find the blind man in the plains

• It's almost time to end the game
  Do whatever you want to before going back here
• Watch the cutscenes
• Keep your group alive to win the game!
  Congratulations! You just beat Aveyond 3
